iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

wanted to give a trigger warning to anyone interested in reading between two fires, it’s pretty dark so far, so just a fair warning.

it looks sick! i started it last night and was super into it.

i’m really into the horror, bleakness and brutality of mork borg, and this kinda felt like a book version of that.

it was a total blind pick but i’m excited to dig into it! i read a bit last night and it’s exactly the vibe i was hoping for.

you gotta be careful with guilt by association when it comes to having mutuals with someone who starts posting out of pocket shit. "why do I have mutuals with this person?" because every single person cannot monitor every single thing every single person they follow posts?

i mean, you can have your reasons but it doesn’t change how i feel about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ participating in it at all and subjecting yourself to it everyday is still kinda ick to me.

i just watched both of them at a live event this weekend and lemme tell you, brent is 100% on it and still very sharp but ole bill definitely sounds like a 90 year old man ranting about absolute nonsense. 😅

👋 i work in media and that’s not true at all twitter isn’t even a real player in the game anymore, lots of successful people have abandoned their twitter, the algorithm is no good although, if you haven’t already you should upload your best 15-30 second clips to TikTok cuz that actually will help

Lyx Lyon @lyxlyon.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

definitely, all great and professional artists have/ are using references our brains are very often an unreliable visual narrator

110

Lyx Lyon @lyxlyon.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

bro i can’t help it i got that “um, actually” deep in me

2251

Lyx Lyon @lyxlyon.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

i’ll be honest, idk what artist considers using reference cheating since they basically beat it into you to use references in school lol i think the difference is COPYING one single reference inch by inch instead of compiling a collection of references to use to create something new.

for me, it’s nice to know for safety for those weirdo stalker alts that block and then unblock you over and over there’s some accounts i probably would have accidentally interacted with otherwise i don’t have any interest in that nonsense though, it’s exhausting
