Next character card is Clare, Eva's love interest (it's complicated when you get a crush on your brother's best friend). Clare is from my WIP YA Contemporary novel "Our Last Fall." The character picture was created with makowka character maker II from picrew. #amwriting

I had so much fun putting together a little character card for the main character of my YA Contemporary WIP "Our Last Fall." She's struggling, but she's here. #amwriting The character picture was created with makowka character maker II from picrew.

Taking a 9-month sapphic novel-writing program was the best thing I did for my writing! #gcls #gcls2024 #writingacademy #writercon 1/3

A question I love to ask and be asked is: what inspired your story? Inspiration can come from so many different sources, from other stories or real-life events. For "Our Last Fall," the initial nugget of inspiration came from an article I read about how many people sneak ashes into Disney Parks. 1/4

Hello and thanks for checking out my []! I'm an author currently working on my first novel, 'Our Last Fall' (working title). It is a YA contemporary story about Eva, a 15yo Puerto Rican girl who gathers her friend group for their yearly visit to the County Fair! 1/3
