very silly mako i drew at work! i’ve been so busy 😞 the hints of moral ocd in her and mena’s story are strong with this one… 👀 #oc #art #sketch

rough rendering of my original characters mako and mena with mena floating and draped over mako as they look at each other. there are glowing white jellyfish around them with a drawing of a whale being wrapped by another jellyfish in the corner. the text says ‘ectoparasite; a parasite located outside its host’

not skycross (technically they were in the last one…) but got inspired by a radiohead cover :3 #oc #art #wip

art of my original characters mena holding mako in a dip. the wind is blowing their hair around as mako lies limp in mena’s arms while mena smiles and puts her hair behind her ear. the title ‘exit music for a film’ is written above them since a cover of the song inspired this.

AGGGHHHH IVE BEEN SO BUSY…. skycross event… deine… nao… save me…

in lecture doodle of red and black of my original character deine leaning into her hands at her desk with a stack of papers next to her… there are tears rolling down her face as sad scribbles appear above her.

day 7; home her mom’s smiling eyes and ingenious ideas (and her dad’s typical face of confusion) to her research are enough to warm deine’s heart, even in the cold chill of the hospital room #skycross #oc #art

black and white art of my original character deine and her mom in a hospital room. her mom is lying in the bed looking up at her attentively as deine talks about her research. nao, deine’s robot companion, is floating above them happily.

day 6; glitch “i don’t think i want noodles for dinner, maybe something like… … mom?” #skycross #oc #art

art of my original character deine and her mom, eliza, sitting in a car driving with the city in the background. deine is in the passenger seat looking at her mom worriedly because her mom appears to be glitching out with a yellow substance coming out of her orifices. the lighting is dramatic inside of the dark car as the city shines brightly behind them.

day 5; energy (or lack thereof...) deine snoozing at her apartment in her loungewear! her lab gear and her robotic arm brace get quite heavy after a while so it's nice to not have to wear it :)) #skycross #art #oc #wip

art of my original character deine lying in a sofa wearing a black tanktop and loose black shorts. she doesn't have her lab gear on and is sleeping quietly. 'energy recharge!!' is written in cursive letters near the top of the sofa

day 4; experiment ‘aerisbacter sequestralis; bacteria isolated from a deserted city with higher levels of chemical X. characterized by eliza reinhardt, a famed researcher who studied the emergence of chemical X before its sudden explosion.’ – lab entry signed d. reinhardt #skycross #oc #art #wip

wip of my original character deine in the laboratory. she has her full lab suit on with lab glasses and is standing near a bunsen burner with the flame going. she has a loop in her right hand along with the cap of the culture tube in her left hand. the camera is looking up towards deine, the lighting and perspective making it a bit ominous. the text ‘inoculation of aerisbacter sequestralis strain r24 - isolated by E. Reinhardt, XX/XX/3026.’ is written in white on the left.

day 3; training deine has made some.. Interesting mistakes while being trained in the lab by her typically patient mother while growing up… at least she’ll (hopefully) never forget now!! #skycross #oc #art #sketch

sketch of my original character deine and her mother. her mother is angry, exclaiming “you did WHAT?!?!” while deine replies sadly “blew up the autoclave…” after which her mother mutters “oh my GOD”. deine looks apologetic, her ears downturned and her hands clasped together. her mother has lab glasses on top of her head and has long flowing hair. she has the same pointed, long ears as deine and wears a lab coat

lys ☁️ @lyssums.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

day 2; night life deine loves to meander around crowds at just the perfect distance. close enough to observe stories and mannerisms, yet far enough to not get swept away. wip for now.. want to finish later though :33!! #skycross #oc #art #wip

wip of my original character deine standing against a wall as bright led advertisements flash behind her. she’s looking at the camera as if watching whoever’s behind it

day 1; introduction hii i'm yoo or liz :)) here's deine, a researcher studying bioremediation of chemical X! may have projected my field A LITTLE too much, but i hope you all like her :33!!! #skycross #skycrossintro #oc #art

introductory post of my original character deine for the 2026 sky crossing event! she has tan skin, brown hair, and is dressed in a cyberpunk inspired lab outfit. she has lasers surrounding her sleeves, goggles, and multiple test tubes on her. the text reads as follows:

“ugh, no colonies again… why aren’t my bugs growing?”

‘DEINE ; she/her; INTJ 5w4’

‘An unawakened scientist researching bioremediation of Chemical X with microbes from The Cradle. The ticking of the clock fills the lab as she and her stubbornness face her race against time head on.’

‘Checkmark for Drawn by themselves, Drawn with other OCs, Use them in writing, and open to collaborate. Ask for Make relationships with.’

‘Notes;
- Has resistance to Chemical X despite her family history of sensitivity to it. However, her awakening will have major damage to herself and may prove fatal if it occurs.
- Enjoys urban exploration and people watching in her free time.
- She found Nao, her robot companion, in an abandoned warehouse. It carries her lab equipment to the field and collects aerial samples’

angie will just have to stick to selfies and tripods... #oc #art

art of my ocs angie and veda! there's multiple profiles of veda taking a picture of angie for her instagram, them looking at the photo, and seeing veda's terrible photography skills in real time. the photo is somehow off center despite veda standing in front of angie, her finger is in the corner, and angie is completely blurry. they try a couple more times, but they all end up the same...
