Had a surprise visit from my new manager in work today, turns out they're a big horror fan, so cue a lot of book and film chat 💀

Girl Slaves of Morgana Le Fay (1971) dir. Bruno Gantillon. Essential slice of Eurohorror/trash, coming across like a fairy tale Rollin affair, witches replacing vamps. Decadent dreamy vibes: furs, candles, mirrors, stone staircases, heavy eye makeup, diaphanous gowns, flesh. A good one for sure! 💀

Kicking off the October viewing run with Joe Meredith's brilliant season drenched "Harvest Brood". Total lo-fi no budget horror vibe 💀

Spotted on the morning walk, looks suspiciously like that agricultural machine that starts all the corpse raising bother in Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue 💀

Good morning from the haunted hills of the Finger Lakes region I'll be opening preorders for DRACULA CAR soon. Much like my HALLOWEEN TV SPECIAL series, this is a quick, atmospheric read perfect for gloomy evenings spent inside, read by the soft glow of decorative orange Halloween lights...

Here’s a roundup of horror cinema and television that hasn’t been shoved down your gullet (it could be argued that Widow’s Bay has been but it’s too good to leave out).

Evil Dead Trap (1988) comes across like Dario Argento (or Lamberto Bava) did a Japanese Eighties horror/slasher production. Actually directed by Toshiharu Ikeda and very good it is too! Recommended 💀
