I grew up playing in and around this river (I’m not quite as old as the black and white photo!). It’s the river Cole in Coleshill and the bridge was first built in the 16th century and is still there! The water is possibly less clean!

They attack white people too - this was a friend of mine back in Nov 2025 in Chicago. She got this treatment due to recording ICE on her phone on a return from a grocery trip. America is not OK.

America is not OK. A friend of mine in Chicago was assaulted and taken by ICE agents for being a bystander. She has told me people disappear for days or forever. It is truly terrifying and those in the UK seduced by Reform need to wake up too.

Well played #BirminghamMuseum #Birmingham the whole rockin’ world is in Brum today and flocking to the Ozzy exhibition! Not heard so many languages and accents on the streets since the amazing Commonwealth games. Never seen so many black t-shirts, leather and tattoos in the museum!

Today is Rare Disease Day. In October my (now 80) year old Mom was diagnosed with a rare disease - Trigeminal Neuralgia. It’s been a heck of a learning journey about this terrible disease and supporting her in navigating getting the right help and get her out of excruciating pain.

Have you read ‘Radical Candor’? I think it’s a really useful model. Similar principles to Brene Brown’s ‘clear is kind. We had an interesting discussion at work about how too little challenge can lead to enabling an unhelpful status quo - but it’s not what you do but the way that you do it….
