He killed as a mafia mob NPC thus thinks he's innocent!! He's very devoted to the cause and naive. Short-tempered and often vulgar but helps grannies cross roads. Something-something he disappointed the boss' daughter (it was not love), Idk, I made him up 2 weeks ago. He loves knives.

Honestly it's just so incredible just how many artists are out there, everyone doing their own thing, creating their own characters, their own pieces their own stories, if there is anything I am greatful for in life is being able to be here to witness even a fraction of it, like how cool is that

"Holy shit two cakes!!" strip but the person only noticed the big cake and goes "I haven't seen cake in 15 years, no one ever makes any!!"

I try to not dunk on it too much in public, but. Next gen sequels butchering the OG ending, the stakes, and characters from the OG series iykyk.

DM for canon DarkKrad fanservice crumb? 😔 (Also "hetmarried, noooo, I refuse to be remembered for that word!)

000

Lysandre @lysandrep.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Sorry for ranting about it, haha~ If it can be of any comfort, the og ending was kind of open and vague about all the endgame ships! (Sadly, the fact that there's an next-gen sequel with all MCs being kids of the previous generation... Yeah, they're all hetmarried now...)

Level of queerness you'll find in late chapter. /spoilers?

140

Lysandre @lysandrep.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

(If you were a fan of early pairs like Dark/Satoshi, though, consider yourself warned: Sugisaki's favourite character IS Daisuke and most ships revolve around Daisuke in the newest chapters. Artworks are after HIM, Satoshi is after HIM, Riku is after HIM, and other ships get the 3 remaining crumbs.)

8 years long, with absolutely no promise of coming back, so I understand why so many fans left... Seeing it return was insane, at least! Full spoiler: it's like in the early chapters. You get fanservice: if you thought DN was gay before, you'll think it's gay after. But 0 endgame queer couple.

If you're looking at the #DDNAngels / DDNAngels / DDNAngel / DNAngels / DNAngel tag because of that popular post: there are scanlations of the sequel on a Discord server.

Lysandre @lysandrep.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

It did!! There was a long pause, but OP returned to it and finished it in 2021. And returned over a year ago with a next-gen sequel!

Writing a critique of every book I'm reading during literary season and every single one can be summarised as "It was good but also bad at some points." Humbling. 🙇 I'm no one but a mere reader trying to find gold in the dirt (I mostly find cool rocks.)

Still scanlating the latest DDNS chapter. I'd like to thank Whumptober and the Baka Mitai Hatsune Miku but she puts her soul into it cover on YouTube dot com for keeping me sane.

I don't want to know how much money I spent in Kei art in july, but I also hadn't commissioned anyone in 3 years so I need to balance out my karma.

010

Lysandre @lysandrep.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Europe adding mad taxes to imports is just a sign to commission digital art of Kei and give up on material things forever.

"Al became good actually" and you question it on a topic you know (DNAngel) and it gets both genre and prepublication magazine, aka info you get in 5 seconds when researching, wrong. You guys trust that?

[ #goldensun ] ☀️ happy 25th anniversary!! ☀️

digital fanart for golden sun, featuring the main cast of the first game. it depicts alex looming behind everyone else, hands loosely embracing a sun in the center of the group. alex's eyes are closed as he smiles serenely towards the light. in front of alex and surrounding the sun (from left to right) are jenna, kraden, menardi, and saturos, with felix facing left behind kraden. in the foreground following saturos towards the bottom of the piece is garet standing with his left arm raised, fireballs bursting from his fist. ivan and mia are in front of him, their staffs surrounded by lightning and water respectively. leaping forward ahead of the group is isaac, with a cluster of rocks erupting at his side. a venus, jupiter, mars, and mercury djinn can be seen near their respective adepts. the piece has a simple golden frame on top of it, with a glowing orb of fire, water, lightning, or earth (the elemental stars) in each corner.

Daiki fans aren't allowed to complain because they're already lucky he suddenly showed up after 9 chapters when the fandom thought him dead~

Being a Kosuke fan already meant swimming in low waters before, but with Daisuke basically stealing his dad role and getting more than he ever had because he's the author's fave, I'm just lying in a puddle.

I have two Hiwapapa commissions ordered and cooking as we speak. Since I don't have clear ideas of what I'd like to see, the risk is high that they may not feel exactly like him the way a fan would draw, but... Regardless of the next DDNS chapter, fans will be fed. 🙏

Following day update: Apparently everyone is hating Mikoto's ending for being poorly written and anti-climatic so I guess Daisuke and him should kiss instead of being put against each other, my deepest apologies.
