tis a website where you show 9 videogames i made it because i saw everyone in my feed posting it and because i realized how strange my "childhood gaming" lineup ended up being lol

fuck, even people from MiloHax have admitted AI-assisted shit, but at least they had the decency to be transparent and acknowledge its use. end of thread. do whatever the fuck you want, i'm not your dad.

i know my former "yes i demonize GenAi" take directly goes against "the issue is not the AI assistance itself", but i need to make clear that this drama started because of this lack of transparency, not the usage of GenAi itself.

saw some mfs/moots defending the usage of AI assistance in programming the issue at hand is not the AI assistance itself. my issue is with the lack of transparency and the seemingly explosive reaction. disclosing its use, opening and making the repo visible isn't a hard task.

whenever bsky goes down it's because of this

"oh you're demonizing ai" yes. yes, i am. i've been demonizing GenAi for a while now. my entire college thesis is a statement against GenAi. you cannot convince me that GenAi belongs on creative fields.

GH and RB have always been and always will be a display of artistry and human creativity. using any sort of GenAi - whether it is for programming, asset creation, music composition - for this only jeopardizes the intention behind these games.
