Oh how true this is. I love everyone and I can and do have short talks with anyone. BUT, I need someone close to me that can speak a long time on something that has deeper meaning that is usual for humans. When I was a teen, I thought I was an alien because I didn't want what other teems wanted.

I just watched Lilies of the Field again. Maybe for the 100th time. I adored Sydney Poitier. I loved every movie he ever made. My too favs are Lilies and To Sir, With Love. One of the problems with getting old is that every actor I've loved is likely dead with a couple of notable exceptions.

And me. I will NEVER vote for "not them." EVER. The last dem could have had my vote with ONE progressive position. I read her positions and gave up. She was slightly left of center depending where the line was drawn. Not ENOUGH.

I spent 20 years in the USN. I fought in wars and other actions. I fought for the constitution and the liberties of others. I will defend the constitution from "all enemies foreign and domestic." My oath didn't have a end date. Read the constitution if you took that oath.

I'm watching the movie Hair. It is not as good as the stage presentation, but it brings up a LOT of memories. I love the play/movie. I love the END of our involvement in Vietnam. I was in the USN four the last 4 years. It was not a good war.
