Had a lovely stream this morning. Got a second section of my Halloween diamond art project (I'm aware it's still September!). I'm glad it looks like this project is going to be finish-able by the end of October.

Finally got back to streaming! Started a dragon scale dice bag (pattern by Cindy de Vries on Ravelry.) Didn't make it very far before the spoons gave out, but still made it further than I expected!

Meet Rayne, the chaos gremlin who had me taking a two-month break from everything. I adopted her at the end of June and she's kept me busy ever since. She's great at finding lost things, and all the trash that my other doggo, Eli, "rescued" from the garbage can and drug under the bed.

Had a great stream, met a new potential friend, and got some progress done on my Beyond the Walls #knitting pattern design. What have you all accomplished thus far today?

They work because both (especially together)say, it's okay to be imperfect. Imperfection is human. Done is better than perfect. Today I apply it most in considering whether a #crochet or #knit mistake *really* needs to be frogged or if I can just let it go and move on toward finishing the piece. 2/3

One quote I keep coming back to, and its cousin, is: Perfection is the enemy of Done. (Its cousin is "Practice makes Progress.") I first heard its cousin from a social worker during a mental health hospitalization and came up with it years later to combat my toxic perfectionism. 1/3

Progress report: What I did yesterday: Completed 3 rows of knitting on my Escape of the Phoenix project. What felt harder than expected: Not taking a nap for more energy. What I’ll adjust today: Aim for 4 rows (and no naps!) Where are you at? Please share, I'd love to hear about it!

I do! It's one I made myself with air-dry clay and painted. It's a bit religious in nature with the runes (Norse Heathen here,) but it's the bowl I specifically use when making gifts in order to bless the recipient with happiness and prosperity.
