I can't speak to the technical reason it thinks you're in OH instead of NY but that's definitely WHY they are asking you. There's a ton of possible reasons for mistaken geo-location via IP including VPN and other stuff but Ohio started enacting a law it seems. www.nbc4i.com/news/local-n...

Gordon Bok, Ann Mayo Muir, Ed Trickett - The Ways of Man (1978) Mom listened to these three & their solo works. The words of their songs come to my lips unbidden. If I have a soul my mom set this kind of music in it from as early as I can remember. #folk #vinylsky

I've had some luck selling some comics recently. Honestly, I never know when that will be the case. It's not JUST about me pricing incorrectly/correctly, sometimes you just hit the right moment & the right eyes see your post & suddenly you've got $475 bucks in your wallet & $150 in your Paypal

Shhh don't tell the vegan council or I'll lose my super powers but the other night when seeing an old friend from AZ on the Cape, I had a piece of Key Lime pie and that shit was TOP NOTCH. Clearly not frozen/from box. 10/10

As it happens this Studio 1737 was a nice laptop for 2008-09 era & has two SODIMM slots, two HD slots, & a socketed Penryn Core 2 Duo CPU (currently T9550). Hoping to find a T9900 (internet rumor says that's top of the line CPU this laptop will support). At heart I'm a tinkerer. 3/3

I pulled out an old Dell Studio 1737 from storage (the only "vintage" laptop I have not recycled recently) & I installed Linux Mint on it. It's working well as a "everything but gaming" experiment. Today I drove 90 mins each way for 2 4GB SODIMMS at $20 bucks to upgrade from 4GB to 8GB. 2/3

I've got history with Windows PC's since 1997, when the corporation I was working for moved from Macs to PC's. As a gamer it's been mostly mandatory to have a Windows PC for a lot of different franchises. I've experimented a few times with one or another flavor of Linux but never for long. 1/3

Bow Wow Wow - I Want Candy (1982) (originally The Strangeloves in '65) I would be lying if I said I knew this was a cover when it came out, I probably didn't discover it till the early 2000's when Wikipedia was readily available.

I had my yearly optometrist appointment this year. Last year there was no change in my prescription so I didn't change glasses. This year I felt like I knew there'd be a change (& there was). One pair of progressive lens normal glasses & one pair of sunglasses. I feel like the cost is insane.

The 5th Dimension - The Age of Aquarius (1969) I cleaned it but it’s pretty noisy. A keep but maybe I’ll update later. I see 5th Dimension records frequently. #vinylsky

Christmas America (1973) This looks more promising. Better names singing. I’m not crazy about flags and rah rah patriotic iconography (the US flag being the backdrop) but if the Christmas music is good I’ll be fine. Plus I remembered the tag this time #vinylsky
