iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

If your app emails me to say “there’s something to see here” instead of just saying the thing — you’ve built an ad engine, not a product. If I’m paying for the app; that’s a free-tier behavior living rent-free in a paid product.

Mikeal was so important in so many ways. Because of Mikeal and the wonderful NodeConf adventure he organized I and my family became a part of the node community. He was as such a kind, welcoming and supportive human. Mikael you will be missed. He joined me on this episode … it’s nice to hear him..

It never hurts to travel with two pliers; much easier to fashion an eye for the hook for the top of the zipper of a bridesmaid’s dress the night before the wedding.

When I feel like I have too much on my plate and can’t actually get things done due to the “overwhelm”… I have found that the best thing I can do is go exercise for 2 hours.

The beginning of this episode has some great political perspectives. But what I share here is a bit of web view vs native scrolling on ios. A topic that has deep roots in my web and ios development history.

I have heard that you need to shuffle a deck of cards around seven times to achieve a truly random order. The possible combinations is 52! Which is about 10^67 which is about how many atoms are in our galaxy. 7 seems small.

Your creativity does not require productization. That is the weakness of capitalism. Detecting time, energy, and joy is a process that validates its self. Like being human.
