hmm, looking into it more and this might only be a California thing? I could've sworn our tax guy, who's my wife's stepdad, said that federal taxes were extended too, though. it says October 16th when I google it, which would be weird if not true, although google probably knows I'm in CA

thanks! it was definitely a mental hurdle for me to ask for money since I haven't done that with my own work basically ever it's on a patronage model for now, but I'm considering gating some posts here and there at some point in the future
