Here's the thing... I actually think she is now going to win thanks to Vivek being such a ghoul regardless... so why can we not criticize/ condemn a Dems raging transphobia, especially if she's gonna win anyway... even it she was. Some conversations are just better off main. While I agree that the poster was using Zionism is a dog-whistle way, I did want to respectfully raise a point with you. Hopefully you know how much I respect you. I used to work for a lefty Jewish non profit, and heard the term Zionism from Jewish board members daily. It isn't rooted in Nazism, but rather post war when establishing the State of Israel, and by Jewish people. I would never challenge someone I love here in the open, but do encourage you to look into the political use. However, Nazis did promote an antisemitic conspiracy theory about the Elders of Zion controlling the global economy, but that's not the same as the political term of Zionism. If someone calling out the harm a post has done gets suspended for these supposed violations, what about the original post which says saying “enjoy the camps” to trans people is ok? The first post was made by the head of trust and safety, so that’s fine. The trans woman responding? Suspend her.
