Tomorrow I have a free day in this new place I am staying on Crete for the next five days. Good. I can find out the nearest place to buy alcohol. Get shit drunk. Get totally sunburned and then say I can’t do anymore ‘historical stuff’ because …sunburn. Repeat till time to go home and no more culture

So far #Crete is ‘meh’. There are six more days on this adventure to Greece, Crete , the first for 25 years minus a posh wedding to change my mind. Tomorrow going to the southwest of the island. Will it be more scenic? interesting? Have to say, 5 stars for any food so far.

The bar here in Gatwick Hilton is now showing NFL which is essentially rugby with the players having all sorts of body protection. How this can be called football, or even rugby eludes me. Helmets, padding etc. Just wimpy men IMHO

EasyJet Jeez the absolute worst airline between Glasgow and Gatwick. Unfortunately had to travel with them today. I don’t mind budget airlines but I totally hate leaving a plane and getting bussed to a terminal. It wasn’t even a ‘budget’ fare. BA is cheaper to Heathrow from Glasgow.
