Spent some birthday money on some books I've been after. So excited to get into these, though picking which of them to read first will be tricky!! #welshmythology #welshwitchcraft

My most recent piece, done for my wonderful friend @misterjoker.live as a surprise for his wife's birthday. I had so much fun rendering Patches in paint and pencil, as well as tracking his journey across the world to his new home. #mixedmedia #watercolour #prismacolor #doggo

A beautiful Beltane/ Calan Mai to all you beautiful people. I'm spending my day hiding from the angry fireball in the sky, and cracking out my cricut for the first time in about a year to prep for the art exhibition this weekend. It's bittersweet, since it has now been a year of my back pain. #art

I ventured across the border today to meet up with my friends and eat pizza. I also visited a stationery shop and treated myself to a new art supply I have never tried before. I'm hoping this will bring some playfulness to my creative process. #artist #carandacheneocolor #mixedmedia

My current art WIP. A kingfisher commission for my grandad. Just got the branch to detail and the background to fix. Really happy with how this one is turning out!! #art #wip #watercolour #prismacolor #illustration #kingfisher #natureartist

We survived the storm without losing internet or power or being flooded or hit by a falling tree! Look what the storm left for me on my outdoor forest coffee table! It's so precious ✨️ #lichen #nature #faerie #childlikejoy

Guilty pleasure pine marten mini painting. Pine martens are my absolute favourite animal and its been a while since I drew one. Played about adding more sparklies to the background to try and train my brain away from painting what is real rather than when I feel ✨️ #mixedmedia #smallartist #nature

Today's child-like joy: drinking tea in the snow. Because my bench is under some trees I kept getting snow dumped on my head, my knees, in my shoes and mostly in my tea. I wish I could go for a nature walk but I have no painkillers until next Friday, so I will have to do what I can #Wales #snow #tea

Proof that sometimes I can make art just for fun. English bluebells are my favourite flower and are the focus of much folklore of magic and the Fae Folk. Yes I used sparkle paint to add some childlike joy into the process. It isn't perfect, but that was the whole point of the exercise.

I finally managed to go for a nature walk with my mum today. I still had a small amount of pain, but not enough to impact the walk. The autumn colours were stunning, and we found some mega lichens and a cluster of mushroom friends. It felt so good to be slowly getting back to my normal life.
