On Aug. 26, 1920, the 19th Amendment was certified, granting women citizens the right to vote. As we celebrate Women's Equality Day, we recognize that much work is left to be done to ensure that all women are guaranteed equal rights today and for years to come.

Under NE law, people with felony convictions have the immediate opportunity to register to vote after they are "off paper" -- having successfully completed their term of incarceration/parole/probation. This could impact @ 3,100 potential NE voters in the 2026 election. More here:
