Our funding means that young patients have plenty of distractions to keep their minds off their A&E visits. An interactive floor projector offers 100 games and endless fun for all ages, when they play games which include sports, sensory stimulation, and cognitive challenges.

Our amazing safeguarding team are next to feature in our publicity campaign. Ludmila, Hellen and Joshua wanted to support our campaign because our funding helped launch their domestic abuse awareness campaign, which can affect our staff, patients, and their families.

Thanks to our funding, what was once a drab unusable area, has been transformed into a welcoming dayroom where patients can sit, eat, drink and do enjoyable activities with the nursing and therapies teams. The dayroom will be enjoyed by lots of patients for many years to come.

We’ve kicked off our publicity campaign to raise awareness and the profile of the Charity at Northwick Park Hospital. Michelle, a radiology assistant and real #TeamLNWH member of staff, will greet you with a friendly and welcoming smile when you come through our front doors.

Thanks to our funding, young adults will soon be able to get confidential sexual health advice from a qualified health professional through a simple online messaging service. It will help young people to start conversations earlier and stop problems escalating.

Today we celebrate our double-digit 10th birthday 🥳 🎉 Since 2015, we’ve funded amazing projects at our Trust, big and small, totalling almost £9million, which would otherwise not have been possible through normal NHS funding. Looking forward to supporting many more projects in the future.

Thanks to our funding, patients who need blood tests in our Emergency Department (ED) at Northwick Park Hospital are now being given restaurant style buzzers. Vulnerable patients, or those with language barriers are given a device which buzzes and flashes lights when it’s their turn to be seen.

You can now view an art exhibition, which we funded, in the Galleria area on the 3rd floor at Ealing Hospital. The exhibition starts with cottage hospitals that treated people before the creation of the NHS, along with significant events that have shaped local healthcare.

Thank you to Scarlett Blennerhassett, who as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, secured funding from the Jean and Derek King Trust to provide wonderful activity bags for our older and dementia patients. They are engaging, therapeutic, and mentally stimulating, and our patients love them.

♥️ Your donations have helped us fund a breast cancer verification system to allow surgical teams to identify the border of normal tissue surrounding a cancerous tumour, without samples having to be sent out of theatre. Now patients are under aesthetic and in surgery for a much shorter time.
