I'm sure I'll be alright in the end. But when you've seen friends come and go, like I have, because they may lack understanding, you realize they weren't friends at all, merely people you bumped into along the way, that had the same interest as yourself. Anyways, that's my ranting over for today.

My birding mojo has also suffered from personalities with egos, narcissistic tendencies and elitism. The lack of cohesion locally, when it comes to birders, I also find difficult to deal with. It could be quite social and friendly locally, but it isn't. I find it all quite isolating.

Love birds, but for me, birding has lost it's spark for me at the moment. The RSPB in Dorset, so called rewilding, constant so called reintroductions and areas that are unbirdable because of other activities has, over the years, taken it's toll on me.
