Thank you very much! And I absolutely agree!! Each chapter is great and unique in its own way and wouldn't exist in their respective ways without the former ones continuously building on them, but this one definitely surpassed a lot of my already high expectations

Details! Shortly before the new chapter dropped I felt like modeling some ch. 3&4 characters. I really liked Gerson, especially his connection with Susie. No idea how I did it but I somehow managed to beat him after a billion tries... not sure I'll ever manage to do it again lol #deltarunespoilers

Thank you very much Akane!! The spikes were loosely inspired by frost imagery and icicles, I'm glad to hear you appreciated them. I wanted the type of matter they are composed of to differ from other common darkners so I thought it'd be cool for them to look a little bit like obsidian

Ooh I see, that reference to asriel makes that detail even better! I really enjoy that idea, definitely works nicely with the bat and jacket visually in addition to thematically tying in with Asriel. It also gives her this explorer feeling, which is a nice link to the stuff she hoards in her room
