Oh.. But this is my turf! I mean, étui is the ultimate Tui in Gleam. Just kidding… only about it being the ultimate one… 😎

I know, I should show some demos... I know... but I'd also like to see what the community comes up with, since the download numbers suggest that someone is actually using it. #opensource #gleam #tui

There’s a special kind of #developer fatigue in checking GitHub Actions for the tenth time. Jumping between repos. Finding the failed job. Digging through logs. Rerunning a flaky workflow that failed for no good reason. I got tired of it. So I built Bosun. apps.apple.com/it/app/bosun...

Today, after a long time... I released étui v2.0.0. [Some breaking changes here] For those who don't remember, it's a @gleam.run library for creating beautiful TUIs, whether targeting #Erlang or #JavaScript... Yes, something like @ratatui.rs for @rust-lang.org github.com/lupodevelop/...

Lately, I've decided to focus on the Xeerpe wrapper ( @gleam.run ). It's a nice way to contribute to a cool project by a guy who's put a lot of time into it It matches perfectly with #Lustre 💜 Repo: github.com/lupodevelop/... Original lib: github.com/nicolacenton... #opensource #gleam #css

Anyway, your point makes a lot of sense. npm should have taught us well enough not to trust every published package.

I release libraries, and I always get extremely anxious when a small bug or flaw pops up over time. I spend my nights fixing everything as quickly as possible. 😅

Over the past few weeks, I've been working on a project written entirely in @elixir-lang.org . It had been a long time since I'd touched it. Honestly, I tried right up until the very end to incorporate @gleam.run (and @rust-lang.org )—but I failed. They don't understand the magic it can bring!

If anyone would like to try it out and give some feedback (I handle it better via email), I'd be happy to hear from you. That's my favorite part... connecting with people who use something I've developed. #developer #iOS #community #feedback

The paid feature is only for the backend and notifications. I usually just make apps that run locally. But there's zero tracking.

It was a tool I developed for my own use... I used it so I wouldn't go crazy trying to figure out what was going wrong. Then I packaged it as an app...

Would anyone be interested in a really minimalist manga reader for macOS? It's free. It loads compressed folders and lets you view the pages side by side only when you want to. Maki.altumdream.com WTF!? The link preview isn't working—sorry about that. #manga #reader #macos

I probably started publishing my apps at the worst possible time. Competing with vibe coders who churn out apps left and right is tough. But in Italy, selling apps isn't easy from a tax perspective… I've only just made my decision.

I train models and run @real-comfyui.bsky.social on @runpod.io The point of that work is that you go do something else while it runs. Instead you sit there checking a dashboard. So I built Poddy Monitor. Native macOS menu bar! apps.apple.com/us/app/poddy... #cloud #llm #macos

Skeg 0.7 almost out! 🔥 Off-thread maintenance just landed: p99 query latency under churn dropped from ~200ms to ~17ms. Default tier is tq2 (half the RAM, same recall). Need even less memory? tq1 is ready. github.com/skegdb/skeg Stars & Issue welcome! #VectorSearch #Rust

Why are we allowing vector DBs to camp on GB of RAM? 🤯 skeg is a disk-first, vector engine built in Rust. Full vectors on SSD; quantized set stays in RAM. The 100K benchmark: skeg: 47MB | 1.0 Recall | 2.5ms • Qdrant: 885MB RAM | 0.997 Recall | 2.6ms 👉 github.com/skegdb/skeg

Three skeg instances. Three separate corpora. One answer. The federation layer queries each instance independently. No central store. Each agent keeps its own memory, partitioned, on its own footprint. RAG without collapsing everything into one bucket. Running on an MacBook Pro M1 with 16GB.
