In this age of AI-created music, I've made authenticity as an artist my guiding principle. AI is an awesome tool for many things, but my use of it stops where my creative process begins. I prefer my analog brain for that. No mistakes, just happy human accidents. 🎨

Sometimes it's good to take time to deconstruct your entire creative process in order to achieve transformative improvement. More on this topic soon..

Feeling grateful to be alive and for all the wonderful family and friends that keep me going, especially when the going gets tough. Here's to doubling down on kindness and never giving up on dreams.

TFW you grok why some musical elements in your track sound lifeless is a very good feeling indeed.

Seems like a current cringey trend on IG is engagement farming by posting something controversial about a recent event based on a position you don't even support, or support the opposite. I don't have enough 🙄 for this..

Show up in this world with some kindness and it will return to you in spades.

I'd be cool with this for the US if it were just Florida and Texas and we gave them to Mexico. (just kidding FL/TX friends... I know don't mess with Texas 😉 not sure 'bout Fla tho)

Don't be afraid of calling bullshit, however challenge ideas, not people. Don't make it personal.

Had a venue knowingly book over our event and found out with less than a week to the event, and all they said is "my bad" with zero attempt to make things right. Worse, they screwed us on contract negotiation trying to make it so we'd effectively have to pay *them* to host shows there... Nope, next!

At music festivals I see MOOP the way Hailey Jo Osment sees dead people. How's about we start a trend this year to respect our home planet better and #demoopthefests ?

My loathing for the incessant posting rat race has me thinking the optimal strategy for artists is: (a) Be genuine and authentic in how we share with the world. (b) Post with intention, not compelled by outside forces but rather because you truly have something to say. Quality over quantity.

Still trying to grok IG channels... They mostly seem like a redundant time suck so I'm leaving most of them. IMO they're very inferior to artist-managed fan lists since they're stuck in the Meta playpen.
