Had a job interview on Wednesday, following an online assessment. I was told I wouldn't have been invited to the interview if I had not passed the online bit. This morning I got an email saying I hadn't passed the online assessment. They asked for feedback. I did not hold back 😡

My boss was very understanding. We discussed several points and he agreed to let me not work my notice period, but will pay me through to the end of September. Really grateful for that as it gives me a little more time to find a new job and I don't have to force myself to go back to that office.

Seeing all these videos of #ICE asking people for ID reminds me of a fun encounter with a pub bouncer many years ago. A friend and I were stopped at the door, the bouncer asked my friend if he had any ID. My friend, without missing a beat, says, "no, have you?" and carried on into the pub.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
