I'm sorry. I'm trying so hard not to delve into negative and depressing topics...which is why I've been so silent for so long... I haven't really been drawing, I've been stressed every day and always overflowing, and just... I don't know... Anyway, I'm gonna keep trying. Sorry for all of this.

As a Mexican seeing these people attack, ridicule, encamp, and disappear my people on OUR taken land (California, Texas, etc) I'm appalled. I'm so proud of being Mexican 🇲🇽 the culture is so important to me! To see it used in this way...as if we're dirty and stupid... It hurts. It hurts so much.

THEY are already taking the humanity away from my people, and have done it for years (eg. Illegal ALIEN) up to this point...we dont need further ridicule. I'm so tired. I have never felt this tired in years. Every day I see more bullshit that makes me fear for my life and my family's.

I use ArtFight as an excuse to practice drawing... And draw fanart for people in a way that they can't stop me from doing ùwu Though ofc if they say they dont want fanart of them I'll always listen djdjfjf

Regardless of technical skill...I just love seeing the variety in ideas people have OCs have always been something I loved to hear about and see because they're always so personal to the person Drawing fanart of them to me shows how much I love the idea that extends past words

Ya know It's quite fascinating seeing people point farm or only attack popular artists in order to get the opportunity to get a drawing back I dunno. I never saw ArtFight in that way, for the competition aspect I participate so I can draw fanart for people with cool OCs because I just like OCs :3c

SAD FEELINGS ASIDE- I'm trying my best to draw at least (1) attack (friendly fire or otherwise) a day until #artfight2025 is over! A lot of them will be cleaned sketches due to time reasons, but I'm trying to be okay with not fully rendering every single sketch hwjdjf artfight.net/~LunascapeArts

With the awful news from the last couple hours, this post from the political optimism subreddit helped to break through a bit of the despair fog. Repubs know this is political suicide, ICE's support is crumbling despite the budget increase, and there's a myriad of ways to fight back. Keep strong.

Can AI draw your fictional crush pining over you? In close to the style of the media they come from? With the personality as accurate as I can understand (to which I study meticulously to get a character right)? No? I win.

Ya know... As angry and scared I am of AI art, one thing keeps me the littlest bit sane in these times... And that is the fact that I have the ability to draw self-insert/OCxCanon art Can AI draw you with your fictional crush in a way that matters? Probably not. Checkmate AI bros.

FOR SURE! And then it's scrapped or never to see the light of day 😰 which when talking about animation that takes AGES to do so it feels like time WASTED And at least in my case, I feel like I have to skip the messy storyboards and just go straight into the animation bits because I'm impatient LOL

110

✨️🌟Lailuna Lunez🌙✨️ @lunascapearts.com · 24/04/2025

SAME You don't know HOW many storyboards, animations, etc I want to do AJHSDHD The indie animation boom is definitely fueling that desire to REALLY do something, so I relate hard to that LOL I also need to pull myself back lest I burn out or get super frustrated with my current skill level 😢

100% felt You don't know how much "useless" knowledge I have in my little noggin whenever it comes to animation akhd I have definitely gone on 1-3 hour babbles about animation and how much I love it and what I've learned and what I can see in shows and etc etc So much to learn and it's always fun
