Trying to be more honest and open about my sexuality on here certainly gives me some sense of control and progress in my life when so much feels uncertain and my goals feel so far away. I imagine there's probably others around here that share in these feelings as well.

The classic sunburst Thunderbird has always caught my eye, I need to look into new instruments more often. The last thing I got was a toy piano from a thrift store, which is basically just a small glockenspiel in the shell of a miniature grand piano.

You can buy those new? I bought a cheap acoustic bass that I want to convert to fretless for the same reasons you gave, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. My first bass was an acoustic so I have a fondness for them, shame I haven't seen them used outside of Violent Femmes to my knowledge.

Same. I've never had much of a "problem" with my sexuality so to say, but holy hell I didn't realize until very recently how terrified I am of the idea of other people knowing about it. Recent efforts to be more open about it (including this post) have been a quantum leap for my self-confidence.

I would be in that demographic! I've mostly listened to Yellow Princess and America, but I definitely need to take more time to explore his discography.
