To cling to the power they already have. It's a well-worn path. They all know the assignment. The playbook hasn't changed in decades, centuries, even. The Left has a harder time rallying together because everyone sees a different path for a better future. It's unclear.

Shower thought of the day: I think the reason why the Left has such a hard time uniting & getting shit done without infighting is because we are trying to build something new. Something that doesn't exist yet. It's easier for the Right to rally because their whole thing is to preserve the past.

I love seeing so many new artists joining Bluesky, but please make your art more accessible by adding alt text to your images. A lot of people use screen readers or otherwise depend on alt text. Many won't repost w/o it. All you need to do is include a brief description about what the image is.
