Blocks You Need v1.11 is finally out. This is the biggest update to one of my mods *ever* and i'm excited to finally release it for people to use! LMK if you build anything with the mod!

Blocks You Need v1.11 - featuring a vast array of new additions

such as the /modCFG system, fluid conversion recipes, facility blocks, more console blocks, dozens of windows, sci-fi & industrial doors, massive texture & recipe improvements, & so much more it's actually impossible to put them all into 1 comment.

151 5

Lunakibby 🌙🏳️‍⚧️ @lunakibby.northsky.social · 16/10/2025

Blocks You Need v1.11 is coming along strong, and definitely is the biggest update to the mod. EVER This screenshot only shows things that are visible changes, there's been many changes with the ModCFG system, aqueduct functions, texture improvements, and more Read the Alt text for *most* of it!

A screenshot of an early preview for version 1.11 of the minecraft mod Blocks You Need, showing cracked variants for many of the mod's stone bricks, Caution Wrapped Barriers, more tiers of solar panels, rose gold blocks, massive retexturing work & remodelling for shelf mushrooms, striated concrete & roof (shingle) blocks, and striated concrete aqueducts.

What cannot be easily shown is the implementation of the ModCFG system, fixing of broken map textures, AI pathfinding improvements, fixes for glass blocks, AI pathfinding improvements, Aqueduct functionality, Paver Tool Fixes, Hub pipes' lighting fix, spawn rate reductions for potentially annoying features, extreme mod configuration implementation, and so much more.

This is mostly changes, I've barely started work on the new additions.

So I went ahead now that I have revamped the pride flags in Heralds II to add even more pride flags, I also tried to represent often forgotten communities like Plurality (full list in alt-text) Am I now too woke for wanting everyone to feel seen? If anyone feels included now, it's worth it

A screenshot of minecraft showcasing an array of banners & flags from the mod Heralds II over a sand backdrop.

The Pride flag collection now has much more accurate texturing, and now has double the amount of flags it had prior.

The list of flags now is as follows:
Baker Pride, Rainbow Pride, Progress Pride, Disability Pride, Abinary, Abrosexual, Achillean, Agender, Alloromantic, Alloromantic Asexual, Allosexual, Ambiamorous, Androgyne, Aporagender, Aromantic Asexual, Aromantic Allosexual, Aromantic, Asexual, Azurgirl, Bear, Bigender, Bisexual, Butch, Demiboy, Demigirl, Demigender, Demifluid, Demiflux, Demiromantic, Demisexual, Diamoric, Femboy, Femme, Gay, Gender Apathetic, Genderfae, Genderfaun, Genderflor, Genderfluid, Genderflux, Genderless, Genderqueer, Greygender, Grey-Ace (Greysexual), Hijra, Intergender, Intersex, Lesbian, Maverique, Multigender, Multiromantic, Multisexual, Neutrois, Nonamorous, Non-Binary, Nullpronominal, Omnisexual, Outherine, Pangender, Panromantic, Pansexual, Plurality, Polyamorous, Polygender, Polysexual, Queer, Questioning, Sapphic, Stud, Tomboy, Transgender, Transfemme, Transmasc, Transandrogynous, Transneutral, Twink, Two-Spirit, Unlabeled/Undecided/Unknown, Varsex, Waria, Xenogender

It also features the hot-swap banners for resource packs to mess with, Borderlands 4 referential designs, & more!

Lunakibby 🌙🏳️‍⚧️ @lunakibby.northsky.social · 08/10/2025

Another feature I'm cooking is the ability to swap out 27 banners & flags with your own textures with a resource pack, so you can have any designs you want, on the mod's models If you want a pride flag i've missed, you can now make it, or you want specific player-made banners on your server!

Here's what I've been cooking for the next Heralds II minor update, i've been completely repairing the pride flag section of the mod with textures up to my current standards. As well as making it easier to add new designs in general

A screenshot of the game minecraft, featuring an array of pride designs present in the Heralds II Minecraft mod, laid on a sand backdrop for clarity. This is the before image of the ongoing texture revamp for *all* pride designs to make them more clear in game, as well as just better in general. This is also in preparation to add entirely new designs.
