huh. i only like to write whump of characters who i love (i don't want to waste my time on characters who i don't like) + i think this level of haterism in the oop is actually respectable lol. these are fictional characters, they're literally dolls for you to play with.

I don't even go in this fandom beyond Lucanis being my blorbo in law through my bestie. But damn, these voice actors deserve to crash out sometimes because what is this condescending bullshit.

I didn't think of that DHSJFHSJ... but I've been feeling chronically fatigued recently? The weird loss of taste only happened yesterday/today, though. I was able to demolish some chocolate cake just fine four days ago. Now I can't taste what I'm making 😭

To end the year with a bang (hah), the second chapter update of my Phainon/Mydei/Reader omegaverse fic is now up! #phainon #mydei #phaidei #ao3 #writing As always, heed the tags before you read :) link: archiveofourown.org/works/658675...

The Winged Insect and the Funeral Pyre
Chapter 2: II
Summary:
The morning after you come to Mydei and Phainon's nest to care for a prince in the throes of his heat, you may have underestimated just how much you miss the warmth of a home.

'Mydei clambers into the nest after, hands reaching for you with a mindless urgency. You laugh—short, faint, bemused—as he settles you against a pile of cushions. The muggy warmth of him is like a drug. His scent renders your limbs heavy and your muscles into liquid as he drops his head into the plushness of your thighs. Your mouth runs dry when he presses his face down and breathes in like the scent of you is his sedative.

"Can't wait until it's my turn to do that."

Your head snaps around. You stare at Phainon.'

Mutually assured destruction, this is what they are.

Series

Language: English Words: 1,180 Chapters: 1/1

Snippet of the fic:

Sua's face belongs between Mizi's thighs, her slender neck like a rabbit caught in the jaws of a wolf. So soft — her fragile breaths, tracking fire along prickling, shivering skin — and so, so breakable. With just a tightening of the muscles, like a fanged maw snapping shut on a vulnerable spine, it'd be frightfully easy to crush. And her beloved would be nothing more than a marionette, her strings cut.

It would be so easy.

Cute, she is so cute.

Like Mizi, floating aimlessly in the water, a spectacle to be admired and cooed at.

With her gentle, dark gaze, she smiles up at Mizi, as if aware of the train of thoughts lurking behind eyes that had teared up on cue earlier. And of course, Mizi obliges. Singing her name, the syllables worship on her lips.

this is what their strawpage says (apparently, there's an entire discord server of people, so it might not even be just a singular anonymous jerk doing this). tbh from reading the fics i think the writing feels ai-generated. just an entire menagerie of disappointments.

Summary
How does a mere mortal respond to the pleas of her God?

Series
Part 2 of the price of devotion
Language: English Words: 1,180 Chapters: 1/1

"How does a mere mortal respond to the pleas of her God?

Laid out below her, like an offering on an altar, is the woman who will one day be Sua's undoing.

That day is but a matter of weeks now, Sua's time slipping through her fingers as sand in an hourglass—

No. Sua is already undone, her seams long past bursting. Her past long burnt and fallen apart in love, its shape destroyed. A sacrilege at the foot of her idol.

Flowers, the nature of their sin, fall out of the cracks, all in the myriad shades that make up Mizi. She is consumed, another one of those countless offerings at a temple where the goddess does not need nor want for worship"

no one talk to me i'm mentally recovering from that new mizi comic. beware of spoilers holy fucking SHIT mizi?????? you've officially outfreaked LUKA and King Yaoi the 3rd-

Mizi, pinning Sua down and saying, "You're adorable."

Sua, expressionless as she lets Mizi hover over her. "You always say that..."

Mizi's thoughts, continued, as she grasps Sua's hand: "You're someone who I could crush in an instant if I felt like it."

Summary
"You expect him to be mollified, after a few swipes of the inside of his wrist against your neck to smear his scent along your skin. As you feel the tension begin to bleed out of him, you start to let go of his hand and step away.

He steps towards you. Mydeimos doesn't retract his wrist.

Your neck feels hot enough, already. You stumble against the archway, nervous titter in your throat, the heavy press of his skin against yours. Heart a trapped bird inside your ribcage. But you don't fly, you don't flee. Why is that?"

Phainon and Mydei together are the perfectly matched alpha and omega, the stuff tales and ballads are spun out of. You aren't certain what your significance is, in this arrangement.

"You did all the therapy and now feel the need to therapy others." Girl I-

Thank you for finishing this test, Soft Alpha! We here at Omegaverse Inc congratulate you for your rare second gender! Here are some things you might need to know about this diagnosis:

As a Soft Alpha, you exercise that need for control instinctive to all Alphas, but you do so in a way that isn't brash or harsh. This makes you a natural leader that's also well-liked.

You are a people pleaser at heart, and you cry if you think someone doesn't like you. You did all the therapy and now feel the need to therapy others.

You were an arts kid, and wholeheartedly expected to get Submissive Omega in this test.

Should you enter the workforce, we recommend going into therapy, law, landscaping, farming, or even politics should that tickle your fancy!

A Soft Alpha is most compatible with a Flirty Beta, Loner Alpha, Caring Beta, Independent Omega, and Submissive Omega.
