Not-So-Hot Take: #OpenSim grids with properly configured ubODE physics completely blows the pants off of #SecondLife 's Havok physics, which they pay a licence for. I know it's likely not going to change due to legacy content, but wow.

Sorry to say this but I find it genuinely funny when people say "How much is the ExGear?" and the responses I get when I say "It's free!" are absolutely priceless. The reason it's free is complicated, but I seriously don't regret it. Watching people even have 10 mins of fun with it makes my day.

Small rant: #SecondLife 's PBR functions for scripting is one of the worst things they've ever produced. Blinn-Phong has one LSL/SLua function to handle visibility which preserves colour. In PBR, doing this requires so much that it baffles me that LL thinks this is acceptable.

#RenegadeMobius #SecondLife #SL #Tribute Build is WIP and a joint effort by all staff. Statue is by an unaffiliated party, Raptor, as a tribute to an old, dear friend. I think he'd be proud of all of us. May his memory guide us, as well as everyone he was important to, onward to greater heights.

The Medical district, one of the more iconic spots in our current build of Renegade, featuring the statue of a dearly departed friend and face of many communities on Second Life as tribute to his legacy.

Where there are ashes, new life begins. Where there is new life, hope.

May all he taught us lead us to bigger and brighter things.
