Moleskine comic I drew roughly while in transit, about living on the knife-edge of a world potentially about to go to war, as an immigrant with dreams Part 1/2

Page 1. Pictured is a drawing of a stylised map of London with various landmarks depicted, but the one I made the clearest is the Victoria & Albert Hall. The accompanying text reads:

In London you are inevitably reminded about what venues stand proudly in their streets... It's there, for the benefit of visitors, but its presence sticks out to you as a reminder of what could have been.

Page 2. Pictured is a drawing of 15 year old me (long black hair, ironed straight, long sleeved red top, blue jeans, standing in front of a full sized mirror on the door of a huge cupboard in a bedroom

The accompanying text reads:

... what could have been?

An accompanying caption reads:

15-year-old me standing in front of the mirror, dreaming one day that she'd headline a concert as big as Mylénium Tour

Page 3. Pictured is a black formless void, with an opening in rainbow coloured light in the centre. The accompanying text inside that rainbow is:

... or what could be?

Page 4. Three pictures are shown here. One, of a child about to be beaten with a rod by an adult. Another, of Priti Patel with the tongue of a snake rattling off far right shit such as "Immigrants are invader scum" and "Stop the boats" and "Save are kids" (I deliberately misspelled it as are, not our, because it's commonly done by gammons who hate people different from them). The third image is of a figure being weighed down by various huge words that they are sprawled on the floor: colonialism, misogyny, sickness, abuse, poverty, apathy, racism, ageism. The accompanying text reads:

I struggle to visualise it at all these days.

From the abuse I was made to undergo for the sake of my musical dreams during my childhood and adolescence...

To the Home Office and even the successive Tory Home Secretaries demonising people like me for, I don't know, existing...

all these things weigh upon me,

so #Omnisphere3 apparently uses AI images if you look closely, you can see there are visual inconsistencies and the usual AI piss filter www.spectrasonics.net/products/omn...

sometimes I remember that the Nintendo online playtest thingy was a thing, and I wonder what was that for

lumiflag 🆖 @lumiflag.newgrounds.com · 24/04/2025

it's already started since a good 2 or 3 years

that reminds me, they also never bothered updating their plugins' UI for 4K monitors (like I have) so they're all super small. When you try to resize them in FL, they get all blurry and pixelated, and it kinda makes Massive unusable when you pair this with the reset issue

lumiflag 🆖 @lumiflag.newgrounds.com · 23/04/2025

the name???? hello??? they're right though

lumiflag 🆖 @lumiflag.newgrounds.com · 23/04/2025

and here I was wondering why Massive just reset its UI by itself instead of keeping my latest saved preset This answered some questions I had, thx. Thankfully I don't own many NI stuff lol

been playing the game at one of the Switch 2 Experience's venues ; I can tell that they aren't, especially during Knockout mode. The only "boring" part was the free roam mode, but maybe it's just because it's the demo

Today is bandcamp friday! This means today bandcamp does not take a cut of artist revenue. If you want to support me and my music, buying my music on bandcamp today is one of the best ways you can do so!!
