Excerpt for the introduction to my game on Itch The full devlog will be below

Screenshot of a devlog reading,
Hello!
This project is something I have been working on in the background of school, and occasionally in my free time since October of 2025. I think now is a good time to start to share what exactly it is I have been working on.
Sherry & the Bay (the name is bad I know, it is a work in progress), is an old school turn based RPG following a teenage girl by the name of Sherry. Sherry is a young Mexican American lady living in San Francisco in the long gone year of
1979. The game's plot gets kicked off with Sherry getting suspended after sending one of her bullies to the hospital. From there the first chapter focuses on the week after this event, where Sherry's mother finally ungrounds her on her 18th birthday. Where she almost immediately gets her purse stolen. From there on Sherry will find herself discovering more, and more of the supernatural, from ghosts, familiars, witches, and even full automated automatons.

Thoughts on Mario & Luigi Brothership after finishing the first sea: The game has pretty good pacing, and doesn’t feel all too short The islands so far are fun Enemies have fun attacks Characters are enjoyable Jokes good But I’m surprised by how long it took for a boss battle, and a bros move+attack
