My first cube is finally all together and ready for nostalgic IPA action 🙂

Going through all the HP boxes at the TOA booth goes a lot quicker when you can breeze past everything with a modern border

It’s time for #IceCubeMKE 2026 @themanavault.bsky.social First up IPA cube: 2-1 losing to Sam Black for the trophy with a non-IPA version of what I was trying to do. Lot of fun, nailed the vibes of IPA

I want to read more this year so I went on a book buying spree last week. Excited to dive into these over the next few months (Not pictured: all the dnd books I picked up at the end of the month 😂)

part of premodern is buying a bunch of random stuff because one seller has it and who knows when you’ll need it

Updating my resume to apply to an internal promotion here and then doing my self evaluation in one day is my own personal hell

I haven’t really played much Magic since the Bar B Cube in June, CubeCons got me wanting to play all the cubes now

Congrats to Shariq!!! MKE is pretty dangerous in these cube streets 👀 #CubeCon2025

The Game Boy was such a huge thing in my childhood so this was a very fun one to put together

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 07/09/2025

Finally got these hung up!

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

Just spent the last hour of my work day explaining basic algebra to a coworker. The kids are not okay

Been about 2ish weeks since I started to buckle down and work on my health and fitness. Down 5lbs so far! A lot more to do but happy with a strong start

Just when I thought I was getting my finances all in order, my car starts making grinding noises 🥲

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 09/07/2025

After ~5 drafts or so, I think Vivi has become my new favorite cube card it’s does some truly fucked up stuff

000

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

It’s hang and cube with the homies week hell yeah

000

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

Spent the last few days considering keeping my premo and old lands/playables like fow and dumping everything else. Haven’t had any interest in constructed formats in a long time

Me coming out of work hell June and rolling into DnD and Cube summer

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 29/06/2025

Open maybe the worst sealed pool imaginable for a quick 0-2, but had a great dinner and spent the day becoming life long Savannah Banana fans so a big dub

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 28/06/2025

After working almost 200 Hours this month, excited to play some team sealed tomorrow with my boomer friends

000

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

Biggest fun of the weekend was killing 17 permanents in the 2 games I got to play Chaos Orb. Haven’t flipped one in 25 years but I still got it

010

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

Went 4-2 at the bar-b-cube at @themanavault.bsky.social in some sweet drafts. Bummer I couldn’t get the b2b2b top 8s but lots of homies in the top 8 and vibes immaculate as always

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 31/05/2025

I had to pause my dnd session last night about midway through so I could have a few minutes to figure out how to rule on some whacky rad shit they unexpectedly did. The best feeling as a dm

010

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

frustrating 2nd draft. First loss I cast 3 spells total and arena bugged out and kicked me out of my game for the 2nd. So it goes

000

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

4-0’d first draft with a really nice one. Hopefully I can close out one more

000

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

Top 8’d a Premodern 1k today (Clerics bad, don’t be fooled!), got a golden ticket to tomorrow on the 3rd shot. Solid day of spell slinging

Gonna post more about #Lobstercon later but I'm so hyped on Premodern right now. Feels like if I'd done a lick of testing I could've top 8'd and that's a good feeling. Next year I'll simply prove it 😼. Mogg Squad rising, baby

Lukas @luksheen.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

I didn’t realize how excited I was for Lobstercon until today. Low pressure fun event just hanging with friends I rarely get to see for 3 straight days?? The absolute best

Sleeping up some Call of the Herds and remembering how stoked I was to finally get 4 of the hot expensive new card that was $10 a pop. Simpler times

Got to do an OG khans draft tonight @themanavault.bsky.social went 2-1 with maybe the nicest deck I’ve drafted in this format, losing to turn 4 siege rhino 3 games in a row. We need a return to formats like this
