I was left deeply touched by Clio Barnard’s I SEE BUILDINGS FALL LIKE LIGHTNING. A scathing yet tender indictment of the UK housing crisis and the class disparity that comes with it. This features a truly superb ensemble. This is British cinema at its finest; humble, heartfelt & topical.

Jordan Firstman’s directorial debut ‘Club Kid’ is an ABSOLUTE BANGER! A tender dramedy about a gay party animal discovering he has a son. The comedy is chaotic. The performances are fantastic. It knows that it’s “lowkey corny” but the emotion is real. I left with the biggest smile on my face.
