‘Selene’ oil on canvas 70 x 60 cm This painting depicts the Greek goddess and personification of the moon, captured mid-dance beneath her own celestial light. Her upward gaze suggests an inward reflection - a moment of self-recognition within the vastness of the night. #art #oilpainting #mythology

While other gods pursued power, she claimed the wild - its silence, its secrets, its ungovernable heart. A bow became her crown, and the moon - her companion. ‚Artemis' oil on canvas 70 × 60 cm #art #oilpainting #oiloncanvas #painting #portrait #artcommunity #artist #artwork #woman #mythology

'Artemis' oil on canvas 70 × 60 cm This portrait reimagines the ancient goddess of the hunt, Artemis - not as a figure of grandeur, but of restraint, clarity, and deliberate solitude. #art #oilpainting #oiloncanvas #painting #portrait #artcommunity #artist #artwork #girl #woman #mythology

Artemis - the goddess who bends the moon's cold light to her will, a huntress whose silence carries the roar of the forest. These lips hold more than expression: they guard a power that commands without words. Music by @art_out_of_despair 🎶 #art #oilpainting #painting #portrait #artist #artwork #wip

‘Medusa’ oil on canvas 60 x 60 cm This painting reimagines Medusa not as a monster, but as a sentient being caught between vulnerability and power. Rather than softening her, I aimed to restore Medusa - offering back the beauty that was once weaponized, then erased. #art #oilpainting #portrait

Medusa's presence is starting to settle in - no longer just a sketch, but a figure caught between the legend and self. Painting her face feels like revealing a side of her that's often overlooked - curious, self-aware, almost calm. A lot more to unfold! Music by @art_out_of_despair #art #oilpainting

The finish line is near, but there's still some work ahead - next up, the dress! Music composed and performed by my dearest friend G. Rachinsky @art_out_of_despair #art #oilpainting #oiloncanvas #sketch #drawing #painting #portrait #traditionalart #artist #artwork #girl #woman #wip #process

I was going to add some audio later, as I always do, but my daughter came into the studio and started singing in the background. Unplanned, yet perfect ☺️ #art #oilpainting #oiloncanvas #painting #portrait #traditionalart #artist #artwork #girl #woman #wip #process
