Advertisers telling FA that plus sized characters are too sexual, then telling CSP to remove kissing references because it's too sexual, is a great example as to why advertisers are bad, and trying to sanitize the fandom is a waste of time. Advertisers, paypros and puritans belong in the bin.

Increasingly, I have seen folks who released music through GameChops distance themselves from the label and express a desire to re-distro outside of it. But there's a cost involved in that which many musicians may not be able to cover. So, fuck it, let me put my money where my mouth is.

white text on black background that reads "music re-distribution financial relief fund. since just because a label done borked up that doesn't mean your music should disappear."

white text on black background that reads "what this is: an offer to provide financial aid to help cover the costs involved in re-distribution of tracks outside a label. even if every track is only five bucks to put a track through distro independently, that adds up after an album or so. i'm putting my money where my mouth is and seeding this with $250 to start. if you would like to add to that, my DMs are open - let's chat."

white and other light colored text on black background that reads "what this is not: anything beyond financial aid. I cannot help you clear licensing. I cannot help you secure proper licenses if you need something beyond a basic compulsory mechanical license. I cannot help you re-mix or re-master a track (though I can put you in touch with people who can). I cannot help you get out of any contracts you may have had with a label as far as who owns what."

white text on black background that reads "your music matters. Let's not let label ownership tomfoolery fuck it up. DMs are open."

I wish all AI generated thumbnails a very "Don't recommend channel"

Did a person really respond to my music with “Gemini said”??? I am not interested in what AI has to say. Specially when I’m trying to promote a charity and the comment has nothing to do with that.

You know what? While I feel like there’s some sort of peripheral rot surrounding me, I might as well get cute with it for the season. 💖 #peonidraws

I would’ve gone insane. Specially having unmedicated adhd.

Year is massive. Im deep in the coffee hole and understand the MONUMENTAL effort it would take to leave it. You’re doing great dude. You’re a very strong individual.

100

Yeah, ditching Fedora. Gonna give CachyOS another try cuz I KNOW it used to work. If that doesn't work then I'll just go back to windows.

Nope, at least I got a new freelance job at a bar as the audio guy. Hope they keep me semi regularly.

This October I’m fundraising for MAMA Academy in honour of my sister who wanted nothing more than to be a mother and lost her life trying to achieve that dream. All I ask is for you to share this post. If you wish to join me, my ko-fi is linked underneath.

OBS issues from CachyOS dont happen here. Good. Can’t seem to find a working app audio capture but that’s not too critical for me. Next test is playing my usual games but I think that should work normally. Final boss is making DCS work. That’s the deal breaker. I’ll report tomorrow.

140

Few crashes and issues but extremely minimal console use so far… NEAT. Will test OBS tomorrow.

150

CachyOS is out. Fedora is in. Hopefully this works

160

Tried to be cleaner with Tiff's vocals and I think I got really close. Can;t wait for people to hear this. All the songs for this charity concert have been a challenge in their own way.

040

I cannot tell you how blessed I am to work with all these people. They god dam killed it.

060

How many covers did I work for this charity event? Yes...

Welp… CachyOS is not behavigg ng like the last time I tried it. Discord is not working right at all. Having audio and video issues. I either work this out, switch to another Distro or… go back to windows… Also OBS game capture doesn’t detect games or Im using it wrong. Among other things.

I really need to know with what

Dam I guess the perfume is making you extra sweet

100

I don’t even know what that is

100

I don’t get why you need GenAI for this. You can LEARN. And honestly you know the amount of songs that are just random thoughts stringed together and they are bangers?? I learned to sing on my own and found my own voice. Just find YOUR style.

100

Ikr, idk why people use them. Looks so bad.

I’ve been doing the same. Have ditched several people I’ve followed for years. Can’t stand those thumbnails.

Luis Vasquez @luisvasquezmusic.com · 25/09/2026

I thought I was going to be thriving in spaces like this and it’s just not lived to my expectations. Tbh im doing stuff that are not what I want to do and everyone is either swamped with work or too protective of their spot ti teach me anything. Hard work isn’t gonna a pay either.

Stage looked from behind. Drummer in the middle bass on the left side and other musicians on the right.

Tbh that dress do be great dam
