If you compare the CEOs pay of Boeing and Airbus, while they have a very similar basic salary, the US' CEO total package is very reliant on stock options. In the end, Boeing's CEO takes home nearly double that of Airbus'.
This over-reliance on stock options is not good for long-term corp governance
