Finally, Phase 2 is underway!!! After 8 years w/o any construction happening—the MTA board approved the contract to build 3 new stations & to extend the (Q) train to Harlem to connect w/ Lex Av Line. This will make public transit accessible 4 so many folks. We can expect the (Q) to 125 St by Q3 2032

Have you noticed that the Second Avenue Subway’s tracks have been making bad, loud noises? I think the MTA found out… Also, this is the first time there has ever been a General Order (GO) on the Second Avenue Line.

Hi, everyone! I know I haven’t been on here that much recently. I’m spending the week in Long Beach (NY) 2C relatives. Picked up a treat @ a fabulous ice cream place in Lido Beach; Frozen Crow. If you’re in the area, U should try it. Marvel nearby has such a long line but this place is always empty

I don't understand why the administration keeps saying that other countries pay our tariffs. This is simply not true even in the most optimistic scenario (e.g., a US importer negotiates something with their foreign partner). If the policy is good, why lie about it?

I’m on a LIRR right now. Everyone was soaked and it is an extremely crowded train. There is a notice on the MTA app first thing you open the app regarding the inclement weather. Please use caution when traveling & be safe.

Oh no! The same incident at West 4th Street occurred again today. Yes, the EXACT SAME INCIDENT. West 4th Street just can’t get fixed. This is major hub that the IND division must reply on for its lines to function. 🫥

Apparently, there was major service disruption to the entire IND division due to a loss of power to the signaling system at W 4 St. I mean, no West 4th Street = No IND. It’s where all the IND lines intersect. But this is the biggest disruption caused from 1 station’s issues. It’s even on the news…

I don't think most Americans realize how hard tariffs are about to hit them. The combination of 1) escalating tariffs, 2) companies slowly passing the cost to consumers, and 3) the repeal of the de minimis exemption in the Big Beautiful Bill, a lot stuff will be more expensive in 2027.

To be honest, I feel like some say that there is a lot more crime in NYC than there actually is. Especially on NYCT. Subways are safe. I rarely have ever felt in danger on NYCT, and I’ve honestly never seen anything severely harmful. 🚊 USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION❗️
