I did a similar thing walking across the oval at uni once and called my brother who hadn’t left home yet to bring me a pair of socks I was literally just complaining to my Australian friends that I’m too Australian for this ‘feels like 6 degrees’ weather 😂

My parents rented a car to help me move into my accom. I have learnt two important lessons: 1. Do not drive in Oxford. What is a 1 mile walk becomes a 9 mile drive 2. My dad shouldn’t be allowed to drive with a gps in miles and feet. He’s never missed so many turns in his life

Years ago a friend and I were touring the UK, we got on a bus somewhere in Cornwall and when the bus driver asked where we were going ‘Bristol’, he gave us the weirdest wtf look and a slow ‘right’ (it was a night stop over before she flew to Ireland and I went to Wales)
