Seeing as it's now spooky season, I've been working on some skellies for DND, using the old 90s grave guard from Warhammer. Really like these old minis

NEW Stewart Lee column The collapse of compassion in post-Brexit Britain suggests it’s now time for Roman-style lethal spectacles. The alternative – stopping malign global influences from destabilising our society, say - seems beyond us www.thenerve.news/p/stewart-le...

At this rate, we'll be staging public drownings of migrants, to address 'legitimate concerns': Stewart Lee on the collapse of compassion in post-Brexit Britain. Stylised image of a RNLI ferry

American film buffs love Stalker because of its haunting, melancholic cinematography and dramatic tension that lays bare the human psyche, but that's just what rural Eastern Europe is normally like. This shit would happen to me 2-3 times a week when I was a kid.

Three men are standing in a large bare concrete room. It's run down and the floor is covered with a thick layer of sand.

We did the Shine Night Walk Edinburgh tonight, for cancer research UK, it's 10k which is fine for me with all the hiking I do, but my partner isn't a hiker. Or a lover of long walks 😅 but they did the whole thing and and a fair pace, so proud of her 😊 @cancerresearchuk.org

So while I did pick up some swag from tabletop Scotland, I didn't do my usual collecting of stickers which means only two new ones for the ol' hangboard

This is the first of this type of thing I liked lol The 5 Simpsons lines I’ve uttered most off the top of my head: 1. Sssparkle sparkle! 2. everything's coming up Milhaus! 3. Me fail English? That's unposible! 4. The goggles, they do nothing! 5. "Dental plan!" "Lisa needs braces." "Dental plan!"

Made me up some Twig Blights for D&D using old bits of citadel dryads. I like how they turned out. And that technically they were free 😁 #kitbash #d&d #monsters #puremadweebeasties, ken

Been a'workin on my goblins, used this pic from the Vermis artbook for palette inspiration. I'm fairly happy with how it's going. #goblins #d&d #vermis #arehashtagsreallyneeded

For the first time in years we've got loads of barn swallows round our bit. Dusted the old camera off to get some pics of all the fledglings hanging out on the line out back and caught a good one of this House Martin

Bit of work on the bugbear conversion. Aimed to paint him in trad bugbear skintones, went with brick red but couldn't help myself for working a dull terracotta red up to a bright kinda brick read (orangy light red) and now I'm worried the mini will just read as weird hairy orc rather than bugbear.

030

Lucky Ninja @luckyninja.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Other one did, I'm kinda happy with it. Mainly as I've not sculpted 'owt for bout 10 years. And even then it was just cloaks so hardly anything hard. Anyways, here's bugbear no.3

030

Lucky Ninja @luckyninja.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Ok so first time sculpting anything in years, dunno if I like how this is turning out... Eeeehhhh hopefully it'll come together and read as bugbear instead of weird hairy orc #bugbear #fantasy #d&d #sculptingbadly

Lucky Ninja @luckyninja.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

So continuing my quest for more bugbears going to (or attempt to at least) make these Redcaps from @oakboundstudio.bsky.social into bugbears. Just to give Trogruld more pals. #minatures #converting #bugbears #D&D

020

Lucky Ninja @luckyninja.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Ol' Trogruld here is a great sculpt, but as a bugbear he's a bit of a short arse. So got this old bit of Warhammer basing kit and gave him a lil boost. Hopefully it'll help him improve his looming

Eh getting there with the 2nd PC, we got a Tiefling (whatever the Faerun equivalent of K-pop star is) -bard/dancer and the Golden Dragon born Sorcerer that's the fantasy K-pop groups special effects guy 😁

Found some funky old 90s minis in the attic, seemingly painted in an enthusiastic manner by someone not me in the distant past, and I'm gonna use them for D&D. First step is getting those two thick coats stripped off

Not posted in months, lost my Dad at the end of last year and not actually done much hobby or anything really. Not even been up a mountain yet this year 😅. But I have managed to do a bit more painting in past few weeks, and here's a rever titan and my warlord titan I'm almost done with

Lucky Ninja @luckyninja.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

Basically finished these two, need to do the bases but that'll get done after the reaver gets finished

And to round off here's a couple of pic of painted minis just to show I've actually done *something*

Lucky Ninja @luckyninja.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

And some close ups of the Warhounds and Direwolves. I've got some good names for most the titans but not anything for the direwolves yet

So not really used this app since creating it but going to use it as my social for my indoor nerdy hobby of miniature gaming. Just as a way to motivate myself to actually do stuff with it. Anyways, here some pics of my current legions imperialis project as it stands in it's unpainted glory.
