Thanks for posting! It's a wonder to only be the 2cnd most expensive, at least for a day. Never imagined we would see the day that a gallon of diesel cost more than minimum wage workers earn for an hours work. Gas Buddy Palo Alto, CA 9/26/26

I am also interested in where the money went - Did they 'remember' to declare it on their "financial statements" as a 'gift' (well above the annual limit) and pay taxes on it ???

I am curious if the states can put the standard mail-in ballots in plain paper envelopes with no ballot markings or voter ID on the outside. How would USPS know it's a ballot or 'verify' the validity of a plain envelope without 'illegally' opening all of the mail?

Apparently they are only able to sleep with tax-payer funded controlled substances that are illegally distributed by the WH "candy-man" and his proteges. Of note - published web images of the actual Ambien logs with hundreds/thousands of pills being ordered/distributed seem to have 'disappeared'.

Thank you for this post! The house for sale in Bradford gave us goose bumps. We didn't have details of where Mom was born other than at home/in the rectory of the Bradford, OH Presbyterian Church where her father was the pastor. It's likely across the street from the house you posted.😲

This ⤴️ Why are we worrying about HIPPA violations when they can call HR & demand the payroll/pension records? If taxpayers are paying the salary, expenses & 'healthcare' bills for a deceased person that is clearly actionable (and criminal), right?

Did SecGhastly seriously brag about kicking 4M people off SNAP (inc. 700K CHILDREN) so they could experience “the righteousness” of work? Is she aware we have (or used to have) child labor laws? Are hungry people & children going to be sent to labor camps to earn their school lunch money/SNAP?

I am REALLY CURIOUS about the Farm app he owns selling US farmland to 'foreign investors' at rock bottom bankruptcy prices that their insane policies/tariffs 'created' + additional price increases for fertilizer/diesel after their 'military action' closed the Straight of Hormuz.

Our guess is Jan. 21 just to be on the 'safe' side with a splashy state of the union debut. The replacement has an even lower approval rating & they likely want the full 10 years to ensure the destruction is complete + the last pennies & ballroom dollars are retrieved from the ashes.

Further proof of this kind of predatory pricing is also evident with insulin syringes and accessories. When Insulin was capped at $35 per 28 day 'month', the price of syringes/testing supplies rose to $75++ for the same period.🤯

Interesting point and yet another tragic consequence of 'pardoning' violent insurrectionists. They may be allowed to travel to 40+ countries that don't allow entry to felons. It would be really interesting if they added that question to their visa applications.

Photo of 2 young women (Calcea Johnson and Ne’Kiya Jackson) who found trigonometric proof of the Pythagorean Theorem being interviewed about their accomplishments.

Calcea Johnson and Ne’Kiya Jackson are the two Black high school students from St. Mary’s Academy in New Orleans who gained national attention in 2023 for developing a new, innovative proof of the Pythagorean theorem using trigonometry. Their work challenged a 2,000-year-old belief that such a proof was impossible.
Key details about their achievement:
The Proof: They discovered a way to prove the Pythagorean theorem (
) without relying on circular logic, a feat previously thought impossible by mathematicians.
Expansion: Following their initial discovery, the duo found multiple other solutions, with reports indicating they uncovered up to 10 new proofs.
Recognition: Their work was presented at the American Mathematical Society's spring meeting, and they have been featured on platforms like 60 Minutes for their groundbreaking accomplishment.
Background: As seniors at St. Mary's Academy, they were encouraged by their teachers to take on challenging math problems, adhering to their school's motto, "No Excellence Without Hard Labor".
Their discovery has been published in American Mathematical Monthly.

0:03 - I'm in Cortina and I want a sandwich.
But a sandwich is only as good as the bread it's built on. Here at Pasticheria Alvera bread mestro Massimo is baking
0:16 –‘puccia’ a bread that his family's been serving to hearty appetites for four generations.
[Chef Massimo in Italian: Puccia – it’s a bread made with rye flour]
0:26 See, puccia can be sweet or savory. Here, it's given it flavor by a signature recipe of mountain herbs like coriander, fennel, and cumin seeds.
[Chef Massimo mixing bread dough: I add in the spices, salt, the second part of the yeast ]
0:45 - Add a healthy serving of mountain butter, a pickle, and some speck, and this sandwich is perfect.
[Chef Massimo in Italian: Just warm it up a little on a griddle, then it’s finished ]
0:57 - First of all, cheers.
1:06 Oh my god. You have to get this. You have to try this. That is just one of the best things ever. You have to come
to Cortina.
1:15 Don't come now because it's too crowded. Come after the Olympics.

Will they let you book the single coach seat at the child price in the same reservation since there is no child discount on the roomette?

Can you get by with 1 roomette for 2 people + one coach seat? Not ideal, but 1 adult could sleep in the roomette w/ your daughter & trade off during the night for the coach seat so both are getting a few hours of "quality" sleep + maybe meals included & daytime use of the room?

Streets of Minneapolis Lyrics - Springsteen
[Verse 1]
Through the winter's ice and cold
Down Nicolett Avenue
A city aflame fought fire and ice
'Neath an occupier's boots
King Trump's private army from the DHS
Guns belted to their coats
Came to Minneapolis to enforce the law
Or so their story goes

[Verse 2]
Against smoke and rubber bullets
In the dawn's early light
Citizens stood for justice
Their voices ringing through the night
And there were bloody footprints
Where mercy should have stood
And two dead, left to die on snow-filled streets
Alex Pretti and Renee Good

[Chorus]
Oh, our Minneapolis, I hear your voice
Singing through the bloody mist
We'll take our stand for this land
And the stranger in our midst

Here in our home, they killed and roamed
In the winter of '26
We'll remember the names of those who died
On the streets of Minneapolis

Median age in Lexington is 30.9 yrs. The reality is much worse if you exclude 27.8% under 15 who cannot work in 'most' states. 27.8% < 15 = 3,119 Employable age (16-85+) = 3200/8086 = 39.6% As bad as this % is - it does not account for another 8% who are over 65 (65-84) or 1.55% over 85.
Image of Text graphic includes age of the population in Lexington, NE.

Thank you for posting this information. It's absolutely horrifying - and even worse - this is the only place I have heard of the obviously misnamed "Wiser" program. Transcript below & Alt Text for all those interested in having affordable healthcare for vulnerable populations and every American.
CMS (Center for Medicare Services) slipped something into 2026 that Medicare patients need to hear. Starting Jan.01.2026, Medicare patients in 6 states will be REQUIRED to get PRIOR AUTHORIZATION for certain procedures.
Arizona, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington.
This is part of a new pilot called the “WISER” model – and the goal isn’t a mystery. CMS wants to test the same tactics that private insurance uses; that delays, paperwork, and approval hoops will reduce ‘wasteful’ spending. Seventeen categories of procedures are included, but here is the part no one is explaining - these states were chosen on purpose. They all have large Medicare populations, high rates of chronic illness, areas with severe provider shortages (especially specialists), big socioeconomic and racial disparities, and major Medicare advantage plan market penetration that already use aggressive prior authorization.
So, in other words, CMS picked states where older adults are already fighting through barriers to get care. If delays happen in these environments, the impact shows up fast. More ER visits, more complications, higher mortality. The WISER program is basically a stress test on vulnerable populations to see how far Medicare can push prior authorization without causing political backlash.
If CMS reports cost savings – this will expand nationwide.
If it increases hospitalizations or worsens outcomes, patients will pay the price long before policy makers admit it.

What a wonderful interactive quilt and mix of history, the arts, and famous folks from all walks of life! I'm curious if the answer key was listed on the tag at the show? My guesses are in the Alt Text.
Images is of an IQ quilt with portrait like images - 12 images of famous people in Octagons interspersed with 6 smaller sepia images in diamond shapes. The top of quilt indicates to give yourself 10 points for each person identified within 2 minutes and 5 additional points for each name identified within the Octagons.
Eye-Clue Quilt ID guesses:
Top Row 1 Octagons: Lincoln, Mandela, Mark Twain, Harriet Tubman
Row 2 Sepia images: Lucille Ball, Van Gogh, Eleanor Roosevelt
Row 3 Octagons: Ghandi, Shakespeare, Muhammed Ali, Einstein
Row 4 Sepia images: Ben Franklin, Mona Lisa, Elvis
Row 5 Octagons: Anne Frank, Winston Churchill, Susan B. Anthony (on the quarter) Rose Parks.
The stitched names were harder to find. I could only find Harriet and maybe Rosa? Other Octagons had clues in the border (e.g. E=MC2) but I could not find actual names in the stitching.

Video Alt Text - Jimmy Kimmel & Mark Kelly:
Jimmy Kimmel: Are you actually worried about this? I mean it does…
Senator Mark Kelly: I’ve been through a lot more challenging things than this. You know, what I am worried about is the reaction and what this transmits to the military and the public, which is basically “shut up and listen to that guy”.
And that’s not the way our system works. [applause] We have loyalty [more applause]
My oath and every oath every member of the military took is loyalty to the Constitution. Not to a person. And he’s trying to get some fear out there and fear can be contagious, but what also can be contagious is courage and patriotism. And that’s the reason why …[applause].
JK: Because the overall effect is that people are now a little more careful before they speak out. People are worried about speaking out. People don’t want to say things that they need to be saying. And that’s flat out un-American, isn’t it?
MK: IT’S HOW DEMOCRACIES DIE. It is right out of the playbook. You know, the playbook of authoritarianism. That’s what they do, they try to suppress speech. Every one of us has First Amendment speech rights. And I think the president is infringing on those. And he is sending a pretty strong message – you do not want to cross him and your loyalty should be to him. It should NOT. It should ALWAYS be to the Constitution. [applause]
