Leanne @luckyleanne.bsky.social · 18/07/2025This is my favourite rant of the week. Thank you! Now someone show it to the premier and the mayor. 110
Leanne @luckyleanne.bsky.social · 17/07/2025It is the backup route, but a wholly inappropriate one. A narrow, residential street with an elementary school (and currently no protected bike lane), it is an absolute shit show of near misses every day as they race through crosswalks at full speed. 010

Leanne @luckyleanne.bsky.social · 11/06/2025Anyone who wants to know another reason why we need a bike lane on Morris Street should come sit on the sidewalk bench in front of the school I teach at there, where a full 98% of students walk to school. It’s full-on dangerous. 010
Leanne @luckyleanne.bsky.social · 11/06/2025The issue is that a one way street option with bike lanes would save the trees (YAY!), but if they kept it as a two way street with a bike lane the trees would be cut. He wants to go back on a previous promise to residents to spare the trees. I intend to advocate for the bike lane and the trees. 110

Leanne @luckyleanne.bsky.social · 19/04/2025Great pics! I have a tip on another good spot. I went to the far end of Rainbow Haven beach yesterday where it turns toward the Salt Marsh trail and saw goldfinches, Savannah sparrows, yellow-rumped warblers (!) and some pheasants. My photography skills are not up to capturing them yet. 110
Leanne @luckyleanne.bsky.social · 13/04/2025I am a teacher and LOVE the idea of the program. I see the results of well fed kiddos. It is the greatest way to impact student well being and learning. My only issue is that lunches are NOT as pictured (hard broccoli stems instead of florets, one pepper when promised a salad). I hope it improves. 050
