I read somewhere that the Japanese use the loan word ランス or "toransu" for trans. "Tora" 虎 of course means tiger, so some in the movement have adopted the tiger as a trans symbol.

This is still possibly one of if not my favorite screen shot I've ever gotten out of Final Fantasy 14. This looks like the cover art for a band's debut album.
