Night Trap but it’s just me watching my cat move from room to room while I’m on vacation

I have the Death Stranding Directors cut on my backlog too. The original is a top 10er for me.

Oh no. I usually don’t play games the year they came out. I was softer on First Light than a a lot of people (I love Bond but I never get a handle on the way IO does stealth) so it might have to be Marathon. I played the demo for Pragmata and loved it and if MGS4 counts then that.

Somehow I still haven’t seen Furiosa, but hearing this has bumped it higher on my watchlist. I’d follow Kojima to hell and back, though. He has all my trust

The city never gave the first responders medals. Only thing my dad got was this and yearly 9/11 doctor visits! He worked 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week, for 3 months, at the precinct or Ground Zero. 0 days off. NYC knew the air was poison. I’m so lucky he’s still with us!

It's a cute PR win, but Microsoft and/or Xbox won't even exist anymore by the time Physint is supposed to be released. You and I stand a better chance of publishing the next Kojima game with the shared €300 in our bank accounts (280 of which is yours).

Happy that GTA 6 just looks like a really dense, really incredible looking GTA game. I think that’s a good thing. It looks fun

“Be Strong enough to be gentle.” Peter Cullen tells the story of how his brother inspired the voice he would use to play Optimus Prime. It’s a simple yet poignant quote that sums up why Optimus and Peter are so beloved. Til All Are One. 💔

Like how the King would be killed by a McDonald’s sprite, the average GTA Online player would die after one (1) Yakuza business mini game

Evan [Luck Stat] @luckstatevan.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

GTA Online has convinced a generation of GTA players that the fun is in the optimization and not in the immersion. Its business management meta feels fucking rancid and I’d almost bet the negativity is (partially) a product of this.

My wife, the Sanrio expert, got this one and she was quick to inform me that Keroppi is part of triplets which is why Ghidorah makes sense. Probably my favorite of the toys (though I’m hoping to get a Kuromi Mechagodzilla)

I think if it ends up like the Oblivion remake it’ll be unreal (with creation running underneath?). Not sure if it’s better or if it’ll end up looking like every “remade in Unreal” YouTube video from 10 years ago

Yeah, it’s hard to not be a little excited for “New Vegas 2” or whatever but I wish it was being made because it was the game Obsidian wants to make (maybe it is, who knows) but it really feels a little cynical at this point. A bit of a “this will shut them up!” which sucks

110

Evan [Luck Stat] @luckstatevan.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

To interrogate this as legitimate (and not something they’ll quietly cancel) I just don’t see the plan here. Fallout 4 is 11 years old. Are they going to reuse that engine and world? Build it in unreal? The reason New Vegas exists (and works) is because all the hard stuff was done already.

Honestly, this feels like a death blow to your friendly neighborhood used game store more than anything. I really don't think collectors can sustain that market when physical dries up. Saving a couple bucks on a new-ish release likely kept the lights on for the majority of those places.
