I don't know if she changed her mind, but she did say she was retiring this year after leaving AEW/ROH. Signing a 6 month deal with MLW to keep busy and then going out doing whatever the last 3 makes sense, if (again) that's the plan.

It's so weird becuase either date would have Super Delfin showing up in Mexico between Michinoku tours to lose the title in a match that wasn't advertised and then apparently wrestling no other recorded matches - but it is 1993 UWA so it's not completely impossible. Thanks for checking.

@spearsovations.bsky.social in your MichinokuPro research, did you ever discover a date for when Super Delfin lost the UWA Welterweight Championship? I know the wiki/wrestling-titles has one date. Rob found a Box y Lucha year-in-review that instead lists it 11/07. Casting about for a tiebreaker.

only two matches on this show, Iguana/Parka and the main event.

Tickets seem like 50-75 of normal. Could do better in PPV sales but no one has real numbers.

On the Fox pre-CMLL show, JCR announced that the 10/16 CMLL Arena Mexico show will be another 100% women's show. That's the show with the Universal final (Olympia versus a tecnica TBD)

They may be souless corporate ghouls but even they failed this one by the numbers about as badly as they failed this one by doing the right thing.

The moral arguments against airing the Worlds Collide show against Dynamite were strong. But you don't need to have morals to see they didn't hurt Dynamite in the least and they cost their own stream tens of thousands of viewers in the process.

I’ve had a cold or something all week. Every time something like this happens, there comes a day when I wake up feeling better, like I’ve genuinely turned a corner. And then, about four…

An experiment to see if I could automatically track the live viewing numbers for Worlds Collide tonight so I wouldn't have to jot down stats during the show. First time tracking this when the AAA/Spanish feed has been at a higher number than the WWE/English feed. (Obvious why.)

AAA is many times more valuable than WWE Main Event so I don't know that deal is totally instructive, but it does suggest TKO is in the mood to sell rights for whatever money they can get for it.
