GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references. Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

A collection of tattoos, again on the themes of Sleep Token and tarot, commissioned last year. Always a massive honour to create something that will live on someone’s skin- very excited to see them come to life this year. #sleeptoken #artshare #tattoo #illustration #digitalart

Digital lineart of five cards with torn edges, illustrated in black and white with red borders and lyric captions from Sleep Token songs Shelter, Atlantic, Ascensionism, Granite, and DYWTYLM. The simple illustrations on the cards each depict imagery from the songs’ lyrics and are shaded in a stippled tattooing-friendly style.

Pieces for a Sleep Token themed gift art exchange- my giftee was a tarot reader. #sleeptoken #tarot #illustrator #artshare #musicillustration #merchdesign

The first of four digitally illustrated tarot cards depicting Sleep Token band members. The purple Magician card shows vocalist Vessel gesturing to the heavens and entwined with thorny vines and dark tentacles.

The golden Strength card depicts drummer ii with raised hands and a lion at his side.

Bassist iii as the red-clad Hanged Man, entangled in his guitar lead against a backdrop of flashing lights.

Guitarist iv as The Sun, haloed in a field of sunflowers under bright blue sky.

If you’re a creator or work in the creative industries or otherwise have a heart, then please add your voice to this UK Gov consultation on AI and Copyright. I said ‘freelance’ for company and ‘unsure’ for super-granular legal stuff but made my voice heard. You can too. www.gov.uk/government/c...

This consultation seeks views on how the government can ensure the UK’s legal framework for AI and copyright supports the UK creative industries and AI sector together.

A foliate head design in the style of Green Man iconography, drawing on seaweed and coral in place of leaves and branches - digital art; Procreate #art #graphicart

A symmetrical design of a simple face surrounded by layered strands of seaweed and outcroppings of coral that resemble hair, beard and horns. The piece is coloured blue-green in several layers of rough, mottled brushwork to give a weathered, deep-sea look.

BLOOD DRAW I - 2024 - traditional art; oil on canvas (Piece currently on display and sale in West Sussex, UK as part of Darkfest Worthing 2024’s dark and surreal art showcase)

Photo of an oil painting depicting a long, coiled wormlike creature with a lupine head at each end against a dark red background. The thing’s flesh is pale and blotchy, and at points is pulled and stretched beyond the borders of the canvas by some invisible force. Each head is force-fed opposite ends of the same tube which is clogged with red fluid. The paint has been applied thickly to give an uncomfortable, uneven texture to everything. The shapes and colours are reminiscent of viscera, nerves, clotted blood, and tumour tissue.
