I always wondered how gcc ends up a runtime dependency. Or why git brings in literally every version of every perl package

Exciting! I want to do something similar eventually and I have a good idea what to do :) I read an iroh blog post a few weeks ago where you guys did the same thing but you had to make some concessions like forking the crypto provider and removing some unused stuff. Any news on that front?

They should render the ip addresses in the traceroute on that world map widget you recently posted

Iroh @iroh.computer · 15/06/2026
We just released the first stable version of iroh, v1.0! Read about it: www.iroh.computer/blog/v1 We're super proud of where we landed with iroh's 1.0. Since version 0.35 it feels like we've entirely replaced the "engine underneath". Are you a fellow key-dialer? Come tell us how you use iroh!

I went straight to nushell instead of fish. If were already breaking POSIX compliance, we might as well do it in style

Basically made the whole "dial by key" thing OS level with a dedicated TLD, so you can address other devices just like you would any domain: SSH, HTTP, ... tangled.org/lucascherzer... (Also on github)

That can be a real blocker as well, depending on how the edit tool works. I have seen gemma and qwen really struggle with pi because they have to reproduce the text they want to replace exactly.

Sounds like a great addition for nushell scripts. Is it shell agnostic?

just got this beauty: ``` > Hmm, there's a problem at the end of the file. Let me check if there's a missing closing brace somewhere. $ grep -c "{" ./web/src/components/Graph.tsx && grep -c "}" ./web/src/components/Graph.tsx ```
