I doubt anything will replace Outside-In tracking. So far everything is just Guesstimating tracker positions. I personally find it a shame that valve didn't make the headset base-station tracked with some base-station 3.0 technology, but ah well.

Well the only good part about the Frame being a Standalone Inside-Out headset is that alot of folk will want to transition away from Outside-In, meaning hardware will flood the market soon c: Lots of Cheap Index Kits out there already! Just trackers are still mega expensive :/

As of ~2018 valve no longer has a flat structure iirc. They realized that it does not work well or something and restructured.

I'll use my Trusty Index Controllers. And I'm gonna keep using my VIVE 3.0's. I've already had a pretty solid setup before getting the BB2e, but the Index is a pretty heavy headset, and doesn't have the best quality for 2026 :>

I think it all boils down to the framework you pick, and how you want to structure things. I'm currently trying out a C# Webserver framework and it's surprisingly intuitive, comming from ASP.NET. Sadly anything web-sided ie. Javascript, CSS etc is still hell to use :(
