Do you know what happens when Trans people are vilified in sports? Cause I can already point out a few examples. Kehlif, Yu-Ting. Cis women denied participation for not being female enough. Because a man decided to make the same assumptions you do now. It is denying equity to any woman. Cis or Trans

You expect us to be denied the ability to compete, to place us in the very points of disadvantage you advocate against. Under the clause that this is just some decision made lightly? That it is not a necessary proponent to our health to instate our identity. And all in the name of protecting equity?

You think we wanna put that on them? You think we seek refuge in womens spaces because we want to harm our fellows? We do it cause gender queer people have some of the highest rape statistics per population. When you make this argument it’s an inherent vilification and denial of our womanhood.

Ah and here is the poorly concealed transphobia. A strawman arguement made once again on assumptions. Bottom surgery exists, lots of us don’t have male genitalia. Do you think us as women would objectify women anymore than another cis gal? We are constantly objectified.

But I see you have seemingly already decided on your stance, if you are going to ignore literature and arguement put forward. For one we are women, post HRT we don't have identifiable advantages. Your denying trans athletes the very equity you seek to uphold based on assumption.

Oh okay, so assumption is your fall back. Look I've already provided systemic study showing transitioned Trans women don't have an advantage over cis women. You would also deny trans-women equity in sports by making us play in such events where there is statistical advantage for Men.

Ah I see, so concludes the section of constructive debate. Why is it that your assumption upon seeing a paradigm challenged on evidential terms that you assume change impossible? I am but one person, but the cause to make events like chess not segregated is a good one. Why not back it?

I'm glad too.

The problem is there is barely any actual evaluation of the truth behind segregation. It's just an assumed fact, you do the same here. That by challenging one paradigm I am somehow suggesting the destruction of all segregation. It's a tool, presumed the norm for often mysoginistic reasoning.

Did I actually ever say that segregation wasn't useful in those cases? I was pointing out exceptions to show a flawed system. One that needs critique and reevaluation in a lot of cases. If there is a case that biological advantage does exist of course there should be safeguards to ensure equity.

for equality and not for the protection of mens fragile egos has long denied women opportunity, sponsorship, recognition and respect in sports. While the actual idea that men preform better than women is rarely ever statistically evident. Instead founded on assumption and stereotype.

The International shooting union followed by segregating the sport despite the fact that no biological advantages were shown. Chess, Equestrian racing, Shooting, Nascar and on and on. These are segregated based on “male superiority” and nothing else. Chess? The assumption that segregation is done

Which is ignoring the deeply mysoginistic nature of segregated sports in the first place. In co ed high school wrestling many Women reign as state champions. Women compete strongly against men in endurance running and long distance swimming. When a woman won skeet shooting at the 1992 olympics,

sex characteristics, it’s actually more accurate to call a post HRT trans woman or man Intersex. At which point our preformance reliably reflects our desired sex. As seen in many studies, for example pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC.... Here’s a systemic review of the topic.

Which is exactly why almost all professional sports require trans athletes to have completed medical transitions. To match our hormone levels to a biologically females. Hormones that encode muscle distribution, muscle growth, bone density, fat distribution. Because medical transition changes so many

As a trans woman to whom this post is tangentially related. I fail to see who is asking for any major societal adjustments. Right now the majority of Trans and Intersex people just want to be left alone. The societal adjustments currently are actively working for our elimination, not for us?

Complications are caused by healthy development all of the time. Most of these variations allow for perfectly healthy lives. In fact wider genetic diversity is good for all populations. So I wouldn’t call them deficiencies as that really quickly becomes eugenics. Which isn’t good for any population.

Are you implying that those who are inconsistent with the binary are somehow not important? The result is that a healthy diverse human population likely isn’t a sexual binary. The way you phrase this seems to say, these people don’t matter. Despite their lived experience.

You don't have to have your gender figured all the way out to transition. You can just fuck around.

CAINROT DEEPENS. Did some mini-comms for some friends, and I'm really happy with them. I'll probably open up some slots for TTRPG Character Profile pages like these sooner rather than later. [ #CAINrpg #CAINttrpg | #TTRPG | #commission | #art ] 🐦

He is a young man in a dishevelled suit - his tie is loose, the sleeves are rolled, and both collars are popped. His hair is slicked back. He is wearing a pair of aviators which are askew as he has his hand up, grabbing his temple. One eye looks up at us, uncertain. Behind him stands an alternate version of himself with a pompadour, casual clothes, and slatted shades. He is smoking a cigarette, and reading a bright red roadmap. One red eye shines back at us from the shadows of this alternate's face.a mostly black-and-white illustration of Goutte de Larmes, the CAIN character of @pastaanddrakes.bsky.social. They are a tall thin figure with short dark hair, wearing clothes similar to a priest's. Their face is is shadow, completely blacked out except for a single eye and a teardrop shape. They are standing with their legs crossed, holding a sword tip-down in front of them. They are wearing a bright red sash that curls around them.a mostly black-and-white illustration of Bureau, the CAIN character of @morikos.bsky.social. She is a severe-looking woman in a dress shirt and pants. Her dark hair is pulled into a bun, and she is wearing simple rectangular glasses. She is smoking a cigarette with one arm crossed in front of the other. One arm has a long black glove on, while the other does not. On the bare arm - the one holding the cigarette - golden spiderweb cracks similar to japanese kintsugi run from her fingers and down her arm.a mostly black-and-white illustration of Kazimierz Konieczny, aka Lynx, the CAIN character of @creative-pigeons.bsky.social. He is a young man wearing a loose white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a sash, and dress pants. His hair is messy, and whatever isn't pulled into a low ponytail hangs in front of his face. He has dark circles under his eyes and looks tired, but is smiling slightly. He has a wispy mustache and goatee. He is holding a woodcutter's axe loosely to one side. His other hand is translucent, red, and skeletal. He is wearing a pair of red moth earrings.
