I misspoke. On my package, it’s not a huge notice, but it does highlight my dependencies. My understanding is the only way to get rid of this warning is using one of the suggested dependencies, which is what prompted this post. Basically, why should I consider those two specifically? It’s not clear.

One of the packages hasn’t had an update in 4½ years and only the one I’m using dropped support for CJS, both of which are making me doubt the accuracy of the notice. Also the fact the second most popular option is 55x less popular

It’s hard to tell! I’m seeing a huge notice on MY package implying I haven’t made the best decision, but I have no practical way of verifying that claim. It feels like an advert for those two packages – there are many more alternatives that aren’t listed.
