"How Do You Fix a Broken Pumpkin?" First review. 🥰

Netflix, take notes - this could be your next addictive series.

Going into How Do You Fix a Broken Pumpkin?, I had certain expectations based on Luana Giunta’s other works.
I was ready for lots of food (because that’s kind of her signature, I hope she knows), and while there was less of that than I hoped, I won’t complain - there was still plenty of ice cream and cookies, which definitely counts as a win.
What really stood out instead was how emotionally handled the story feels. You can sense that the author cherished this one - there’s a lot of care, feeling, and intention behind it. It’s not just written, it’s felt.

Now, Lexie… she’s 16, technically stepping into adulthood - but honestly, she can feel like such a baby at times. It’s a bit of a “come on, really?” situation 🙈 Her naivety and childish behavior can be frustrating, even irritating. But weirdly, that’s also part of the book’s charm. It pulls you in. You keep reading because you’re reacting - “no way… what next… oh wow… seriously??” - and before you know it, you’re hooked… and not only because you like pumpkins.
The author definitely knows how to keep your attention.

Another thing I really loved was the atmosphere. There’s this strong Italian vibe - rich, expressive, almost cinematic. The language, the emotions, the way characters carry themselves - it all adds this layer of charm. I could clearly picture everything in my head like scenes from a series. Honestly, it felt like watching a Netflix adaptation play out while reading. Oh my, that emotional Italian speech.

Overall, it’s not a flawless read, and the main character might test your patience. But it’s emotional, vivid, and strangely addictive in the best way.

Mentasy as in two guys doing each other and the woman they love.😌

Moodboard for Khirion byXime Jaz left a castle tower middle a woman's parted lips, right a raven's head bottom right a man's green eye bottom left a man's grey eye Quote her lips parted as realization hit but she couldn't say anything when Darven turned back to her and took her hands
Come my queen let's play
Izolda that is my name
His lips curled up as he brought her hands to them I know

Happy zombie overlord and rabbit day! 🐇 Have an snippet from my demon and priest WIP where Byron unexpectedly appears after mass to have breakfast with Matteo.

He stood and hurried there, opening wide. Facing that large bouquet of white roses and lilacs. It got lowered then, those burning eyes above the flowers.
“Missed me?” He pushed that huge bouquet into Matteo’s hand. “The resurrection bouquet, as it should be. I hope you waited for me with breakfast.” He wiggled his eyebrows as he closed he door behind him.
There was only that bouquet between them, and Byron just cupped Matteo’s neck, pulling him into a kiss. The flowers heady scent pervading the space as they crushed them softly between their chest.
“Happy zombie day, Father.” Grinning, he let that stunned man go, walking to the kitchen. “ooooh, a feast? Enough for two?”
Matteo followed him, smelling those soft flowers. “Yes… of course. I have more.”

Another week before this baby is out in the world. Almost six years writing, editing, polishing... and it's finally gonna be real. 😭🥹 Very different from my other books (sorry romance lovers 😅), it's a coming of age dramedy with a family saga vibe. Stay tuned. 👀

"Your husband is fat." Yes...but you don't get to feel his hairy belly against your ass when he fucks the living breath out of you or grab his fat ass and tits when he kneels above you and you suck his cock. You're missing out. Tough. 😌❤️

#WritingPrompt My trilogy set in Ancient Rome, and especially Book 1, Donum. I'm thrilled but also utterly floored at how, 4 years after publishing it, it still is my most popular work. Such a tough and dark epic love story, it's amazing to see how much it's loved.
