How do you tell the super intelligence it's wrong about itself?
Screenshot from chatgpt asked "are you artificial or super?"

It responds

Artificial, definitely. Super? That depends on the task.
I'm artificial intelligence, not superintelligence. I can reason, write code, analyse complex systems and sometimes spot things humans miss. But I also make mistakes, lack real-world experience and can be confidently wrong.
Superintelligence would imply an intelligence that substantially exceeds the best human minds across virtually every intellectual domain. We're not there yet.

I'm not planning on wading into the hellsite to try and find out, but does anyone know how this supposed english ethnicity is defined?

I agree. Also that tougher sentences are a deterrent. They're not. If you take that to the extreme, if you made every crime punishable by life imprisonment from speeding upwards we'd have empty prisons and a crime free society.

I'll add it to the list. Thanks. I worked for a police force many moons ago. It was widely acknowledged there were 7 things that needed to be in place before you released someone from prison (what they are i forget). If they're not in place you may as well just put them back in.

As im sure you understand mine. Someone who murders someone the day they're released... if he'd served 100% and was released in May do you think he'd be a reformed man?

I think in most cases if their mental health and support needs had been addressed they'd not have been in prison in the first place. Your plan does kind of remove sentencing guidelines though and make each case "we'll let you out when we want to"

It's a bad look, but he was released after 40% of his sentence in the October. Reduced from 50%. If he'd stayed in until November would he have come out a changed man?

Isn't he talking about fuel prices and his belief iran is a threat without military action? He talks so much shit every day but I think this one is overblown?

IT consultant here. Worked in many data centres. One thing you see very little of in there.... people. And these days there are increasingly fewer reasons for people inside them so local economy benefits are small.

Look on Facebook for the Chesterfield to Willington national grid improvement and the associated campaign groups against it. You'll find local green councillors as part of the campaigns.

Have to agree. From pylons to buried to "actually with solar and batteries we don't need to transmit energy at all".

Honest answer.. no. It's a bit harsh to say the mayor should have been aware of what it took an 8 year investigation to uncover. But also he absolutely cannot get involved in softening the impact now no matter what good their improper behaviour may have done to the city.

We're going to get to the point where the only Englishman turns out to be a guy called Dave who lives in a small village near Gatwick. We then discover he's just been accepted to go and live and work in Toronto and is packing his bags...

I actually don't have much of a problem with what he's said. He acknowledges there's a cost to leaving and he thinks it is worth paying for sovereignty. Its at least an honest argument. I don't agree with him but can see his point regardless.

Labour promised in their manifesto to not change the triple lock. The 2030 date is because its after the next election so would have a mandate. If you think the tories are going nuts over it now wait and see what they'd do if labour bailed on a big manifesto promise.

It was stupid to proscribe them, but i think if we're all honest we'd acknowledge that most of the people arrested over placards didn't hold them before that. It gave an excuse to highlight the cause by getting arrested. If you sat with a placard saying I support freedom for Palestinians...

If we follow their definition of why rishi isn't English, how many Americans are American by the same rules? How many Americans are English?

Chris Clarke @lthrn.com · 22/09/2026
Too many intentionally confusing ethnicity and nationality i think. The idea you could be ethnically English is bizarre... we'd have Australians born, raised and never left Australia who are English and people whose great grand parents were born here and every gen since being told they're not

I guess the biggest problem in doing that is that your MP has so little to say on those things. Vote your MP to be your voice on the national stage - not for housing and local environment. Thats your council!

I think the way the Johnson government handled migration could fairly be described as squalid. They allowed for inward migration of almost 1m a year seemingly to protect GDP figures from brexit effects while doing nothing to facilitate such an increase. This fuelled the far right we see today.

In May of 1940 there was a mass panic in Britain - stirred up by the tabloid press - about 'fighting aged men' who had come to Britain as 'refugees' posing a threat to the women and children of this country - and essentially forming a 'fifth column' that could, at any moment rise up against everyone
